this is what i did:
weapon_mp5 was in the box so i deleted that and typed in weapon_usp right then i compiled and all that went into the game and it was still an mp5

i dont see it. all i see in the properties box is:

and thats it

aww in this one map aim_map_usp it had it so evey person had a usp. i think they did it by having the usps fall above the players and they automaticly picked em up. do you know how to do that?

i was wondering how i can make it so on my map u will autoheal after u get hurt. some of u might play cs and might ahve played a climb map on cs, well as u know some climb maps (kz_maps) have auto heal on. i was jus wondering how to do this. thanks for helpin in advance

when im in valve hammer i made this archway to go into some tunnels and i got it lookin cleanand cut nice, then i go into game and i see this big triangle piece stickin out of the wall which i deleted in valve when i took an arch solid and to other brushes to carve the arch way outa the wall. whuts up with it is there somethin i should do to make it so that stupid piece dont stick out in game?

wait nvm i found out the problem, when i saved it i saved it as cs_counter-strike, so instead of it thinkin -dev -console, it thought it was -strike -dev -console. lol i took out that little dash and it worked

thats what my compile log is, i checked the "Mod directory" and when i try a differnet map it works fine and when i hit F9 it starts up without a problem. did it compile wrong or something?

ok i jus got done with that half life tutorial and i moved on to the cs tutorial, i make my room i add the info_player_deathmatch and info_player_start and i put the func_buyzone in and then i hit F9 to test it and when i get into cs it says that it cant find the map on the server. im gettin frustrated cuz i thought i figured it out last time but i guess i was wrong, or i did something i thought fixed it but it was something else. plz help i wanna see if im doing it right. all help whould be good. and thanks in advance

whenever i hit F9 in valve hammer it loads up cs and everything but then when it starts up my console comes up saying "map de_lol not found in server" or something along those lines. i was wondering how u can make that .map file straight into a .bsp file so i can jus put it into my maps folder. is there something i missed in the tutorial? some kinda compiler i use? thanks for any help. :D
