oh f*k! why?! this map is suppose to be sewers...so I cannot put a circled brick texture that would be stupid...but there are some rounded walls when you continue in the sewers...

I want to open my func_door with a wheel but when the player uses the the wheel the door gonna be open slowly but when player instantly gets away from the door ,the gonna close fast

just make your splash screen in Fireworks and resize it then copy them in paint and save as bitmap then copy that to media folder of that mod(if it doesnt have any media folder create one)

are you sure? Could spirit change the props. fo trigger_auto ,trigger_once,trigger_rellay

and this train is not drivable is moves instantly :

How to make a new monster without new code:
Step 1: Set up your monster's model
You want a grunt with a pistol right? Find a grunt model (or make one) with a pistol and put it in your model directory, or wherever. Now make a monster_barney and set his model to the grunt model. You can resize him to be bigger or smaller, but keep in mind that the hitboxes will stay the same. So I would recoomend resizing the model itself. That was the hitboxes stay where they should. Example: If you used the entity to resize Barney half way, if you shot where a normal sized barney's head would be, the smaller Barney's head would be shot. But if you rezised the model itself, when you shoot him, he will be shot where you shoot.

Step 2: Health
Simple enough, change his health, if you want to, in the "health" field.

Step 3: Weapons
Spirit lets you make Barneys with either a glock or a 357, more choice, happy day. Not much to say here, just pick a gun.

Step 4: Behavior
With spirit you can set not only monster's health and model, but their reaction to Gordon as well. from memory I know you can set them to :"
-Alien-hostile towards Gordon and miltary
-Grunt-hostile towards alien and Gordon
-Bullsquid-hostile towards other bullsquids and, headcrabs, military, and Gordon
-Headcrab-runs away from bullsquids, hostile towards Gordon and military
-Friendly unless provoked(barney style)
-Friendly
-Scientist(I don't know what this does, but maybe it lets you have the monster follow you?)
-Hostile towards Human

Thats it. Now if you really want to have some fun, make a pyro by giving a garg a grunt model. Though you would still only be able to hurt it with explodives and egons...

The only drawback to not using new code is that I'm sure if you can change their voices. It might be possible, but I've never looked into it.

that would be good...find those compile dll programs because I'm working on my mod's map details...

and this swat grunt is gonna be friendly but I heard that making guys friendly or not was easy to handle :

Here is my mod's story;
First of all you are Gordon Freeman.:)

At the end of Original:Half life gman(the guy with blue jacket) says ''...we have controlled Xen...'' so in my mod ;
The people on earth builds a city on Xen because the aliens are under control but one day everything goes wrong aliens get out of control and attack the city...So gman wakes you up from your life bubble(a big bubble in Xen) and says :rise and shine freeman and then he talks and talks .After that you enter a teleport and teleported to Xentopia the city on Xen.

Replace the C:mymapstestmap with the path to your .map file (exported from WorldCraft - File -> Export to .MAP). Notice how testmap has no extension - the tools will work it out. Save that file as something.bat and run it.

and by the way I SOLVED THE PROBLEM!A VIRUS HAD ENTERED MY HALF LIFE FILE AND F**KED THE HL.EXE SO I just re-install it and walla its now working! :nuts:
