Well Freeman is... tries to remember the text in black mesa transit system 28, right? So in HL2 he should be bout 30. And Alyx is bout 17 or at least she looks like that... I always wondered, why didn't she kiss Gordon in the ending when they were alone in that elevator in the Citadel. Perhaps it was because she wasn't 18, huh? ;)

It's really easy... Env_renders just change the rendering of any solid entity or model/sprite etc. See the entity guide.
And I think that you could make the pushable respawn with trigger_relays... Although I don't really know, how to do that... :)

Well HL2 might not "feel" like HL1 while playing, but the storyline, the change of the landscapes, tons of new monsters, graphics new capabilities, realistic gravity... When I put it all together - I'd say that HL2 is really a great sequel of the almighty HL1... :tired:

Take it as any other entity. You can trigger it with anything that has a "target" field in its properties...
And the target field? Select the entity you want to trigger the multi_manager, press Alt+Enter and a table will pop up... It will have all the entities properties (name, target, delaybefore target, etc.). So just enter the name of yer multimanager in the "target field" and walla! Your multimanager is triggered! :biggrin:

Well you can play as a spectator, and you could search the console for somethin like "nav_showpaths 1" or sumpin like that... The console shows commands so try finding the 1 u need... And btw this is NOT a HL2 mapping question :

Elon, you don't need trigger_relays to turn a sound off... You can easily turn it off just by triggering it again... :

The sound won't stop, just because another sound was triggered. Just trigger the elevator sound again, when you want it to stop. :)

I googled the web for this problem and found a it. This problem usually occurs on all faster cpus from (PII and AMD K6). For some reason on faster cpus, the Crt libraries command "delay()" gets buggy and the compiler somehow thinks that you're trying to divide somethin by 0. I won't go into details, you can see for yourself here, if you exprience the problem too... :)
