How would i fix this?

MakeScales:

Description: The program failled to allocate a block of memory.
Howto Fix: Likely causes are (in order of likeliness) : the partition holding the swapfile is full; swapfile size is smaller than required; memory fragmentation; heap corruption

like it tells me to but how do i increase the size?

thats not the problem it in all the half-life games and mods and it also does it like in cut scenes and stuff so i guess its to do with my video card :cry:

Ive got some ideas for the 1st 3 chapters ok in the first one walk around the labs have a look around and all that and i will think up somthing that you have to goto like a test or somthing
Chapter 2 is when everything goes wrong and you go looking for an exit around the labs you work in
and chapter 3 when you find the closest thing to an exit a hatch to a lower level and then you see whats happend down there
if you don't like it just shoot some ideas and ill could change it.

Yes I did try steam it causes texture problems due to my old but still good video card :( ,Don't worry about this anymore i guess it can't be fixed :cry:

ok this isent just when i playing a mod but when ever i get in a train or a tram like the starting ones in hl1 and blueshift and also the otherones in game like in on a rail or in the start of apprehension they just start to spin out of control like up and down side to side most of the time i die from it or just fall out and cant get back up is there anyway to fix this???

ok this was the name of one of my maps that never got finished i just felt like turning it into a mod so what i was thinking was get some people who are willing to help me on this.
I've got a basic story for it that can be changed,you are a scientist in the very high secured labs and when hell breaks loose you along with many other scientists are stuck. all the doors were shutting to get out, the power for the protection (the high tech guns) had been tured off at some parts and aliens and some troopers were getting in some how and it is your job to get out alive (of course).
I have started on it a little bit but not much and it would be great if i could get a team of 5 or 6 people :)

i got it working but about everything I don't use this is a shared computer so i cant do that i've got my own computer but no net on it i should get it hooked up but i cant be bothered but thanks for the help :biggrin:

hmmm it told me to increase the virtual memory page file size in the help althow is was blank i think it was higher before than when i changed it

um i did what 7th said the mesage just pops up after the compile of my map non of my other maps trigger it

EDIT: what it usally says is low on virtual memory windows is now increasing it

YAY!!! i finally got it to work
all i need to do is get the gonome to work

whenever i try to put it in it says after compiling whn in the console screen it goes back to the menu screen and says that gonome.mdl cannot be found
