Well, it's kind of wasteland based at first. What I would like is.. like ... Just new clothes mostly. I want barney and alyx reskinned in different clothes. Like normal clothes, only dirtied up, with like, "Wasteland Splashes" on their shirts and such along with dirt and stuff, on both their clothes. I hope that kinda explains some.

Yes, that did help, but I want to know how to go first person with them too. That tutorial for half life 1 tells how to in WorldCraft, but the names are different in SDK or something. You know? Instead of a tv have a func train type of deal?

All right, I got those errors fixed. Now a new problem.

This is an extra room I added on. There is a door going to it, but without any funtions currently.

This is in game. Behind that door, there is nothing. The previous picture shows there is really a room there. Basically you noclip out of the map if you noclip into that room. Any ideas?

Sorry about that. I don't know why I'm so mad right now, it's not like I can't take as long as I want to make this map. What is it that you need clearer? Besides, can't someone just get the map compile it and find the same thing? It's only a cube currently! It'll be more advanced later, but for now, it's plain, easy and simple.

Yes, in fact. There was a leak. I could not find it though. Actually, there were more like 5 links, info_player_starts were out of the map. I fixed it, and sure enough, it still said the links were there. Does this have to do with the full bright thing?

Ok, for any of you geniouses out there, I need a mega fix. I've tried everything! I'm almost sure it's because of a compile error, but I can't tell.

What isn't working is there is a red light. It is supposed to darken the place. Noclip up one floor. This is the admin place. You hit the lightswitch and it turns the lights on. That's what it used to do. After one test, it was full bright. The compile process said nothing about lights having anything wrong with them. The normal light's flags are initially dark, meaning they have to be triggered in order for them to turn on. Well, as soon as someone gets it working so you spawn and it's a dark red, then hit the lightswitch and it's brightened again, please post the download link here. Thanks.

P.S. The lightswitch is by the computer desk, to the right.

Ok, I love quake 4, hate the editor. I tried mapping with GTKRadient when I was about 7, I was proud with the results I always got once I figured out save every 2 minutes. So Radient got extremely boring for me to use. Radiant and hammer are NOTHING alike. Hammer crashes every 50-60 tests of your map while Radiant crashes every 10 minutes. My advice, wait until a newer update of Radiant. Though radiant has gotten better since Q3, wait another year or so because by then they'll have enough hassle complaints to make them go crazy and update radiant to actually be worth using. Just my idea :biggrin:

Well, I'd say they don't attack unless they are a monster. Say with the kingpin, this might be possible with any model, but my example is the kingpin. Get the kingpin model from the that pak file. Then, make an alien slave in your map, as the custom model have it as the kingpin model. I know there's a way to get mdls from pak files, so none of that it's not possible shit ;)

Tell me if this helps at all, or if it just confused u.

Actually I finally figured out what went wrong before Elon Yariv helped. There was a camera prefab I added. It fucked the whole thing up. So, yeah. Case closed on this one. :glad:

Ok, I started a new clan training map for my clan, but something went wrong. Here's the error.

What does this mean? I have absoloutly no idea what the Bad Surface Extents means, and I don't plan on figuring out what the rest mean. Anyone have any ideas?
