Probably wouldn't be too fun anyways.

redka got it.

It's quite useful for preventing unwanted clipping on terrain. When you make VM terrain, the player can often get stuck or caught up on expanded clip hulls. Eliminate this by texturing all of the hidden faces of the terrain with bevel.

Yes, there are indeed so few scripted moments in HL2. :rly:

If valve ever had to resort to a cutscene in HL2, I would be very disappointed in them.

Yeah, I was waiting for someone to say that in a way that made them look like they know what they're talking about.

I definitely got viruses on my old computer, tons of them, and I know I didn't flip through my drives in my spare time looking for strange .exe files to open for the hell of it.

The laptop wont turn on if its hot (like normal laptops)
Where did you hear that was normal? I assume it's different for different computers, because my laptops temp. doesn't affect whether or not it works.

In other words, are you sure that's normal for your computer, or are you just assuming it is?

You really should have some sort of anti-virus.

In short, if you're getting viruses and managing to consistantly make Windows crash, you're an absolute fucking imbecile and shouldn't be allowed near computers.
Not really.

If you can use Windows for years and NOT have it crash or get viruses, then you are a very above-average user.

It didn't get a reputation for being a trainwreck of an OS by being safe, stable and easy to use.

This man speaks the truth. I doubt a tutorial as vague as that will be approved. Hell, NO tutorials are being approved recently. Besides, posting in the mapping tips thread will be infinitely easier than writing a tutorial!

So stop hogging all the tips and head over to that thread!

This seems less of a problem with Hammer or other programs, and more of a Vista-related error. That said, I think you'd have better luck with this one on a tech-support forum or something rather than a Half-life forum.

But who knows? I think we have a Vista user somewhere among us...

Yeah.. gravity gun would be very hard to do. You need physics, that's kinda the point. It's just a physics toy.

So what you want is, a "gravity" gun that performs the same functions as the use key on pushables?

Because that's about as far as you can get without some pretty crafty code work.
