Oh lord... control + a key is called "hotkeys". It's faster than moving your mouse around and you should take the time to learn them all. I still don't, because I suck, but using hotkeys saves you time.

Compiling with HDR but not adding (or building) the cubemaps results in every reflective surface glowing pure white. Reflective surfaces include all of your guns, parts on players uniforms, windows, metal props, ect.

For example, I made a pink and glowing Combine Elite:

Um ok... we need more information. I :might: have an idea of the problem.

What do you mean by "silver"? Glowing brightly?
What do you mean by "everything"? Models, guns, windows, props, or brushes?
Did you compile with HDR?
If you did, did you forget to add cubemaps?
Were you using custom content?
Were there any errors in your compile log?

Answer those and we can solve this quicker. This is also one of those cases where a screenshot would make it infinitely easier to help.

a !texture is water and if you use a different one then, well, it wont be water.

Like srry said, the best you can do is make it clear, or use a darker water texture. Make your own, it's easy enough. Good excuse to learn how to make textures!

The yellow bricks for the ceiling need to go. Also, the grate looks weird when it's applied to all sides of a thick brush, I think it would look much better if you changed those two things.

The two weapon thing is all about balancing. The thing the Halo games have gotten right from the very beginning is multiplayer. Sure the singleplayer wasn't special, a bit of a let-down even. Still, there's no denying it is the deepest multiplayer fps on any console, and if you are denying it, then you don't know everything about it. Not having a mod community will always put it at a disadvantage for being a console game though.

I mean, they went over the top making sure it was fun as hell.
