I've put a topic like that too and not a long time ago. Everybody almost hit me because this isn't the best place to ask questions about erros check this site and you'll get some answers.

I would like to know waht is max_patches error and how can i fix it. I am using zonner's tool (as usual :)). it compiles then gos to cs but then it appears a window displaing: "bad surface extents 3984/0", and it crashes.
I would apreciate some help.tnks

I've had the same problem once try to check if you haven't got any texture with ~ (light) inside a wall or something or if you have a light inside a wall too. if you can't compile with zonner tools but with hammer original tools you can but have that problem do that. go to only used textures and mark that texture.put the map in the map vault zone and maybe a give a look to that.

in mine opinion is mutch more easy to create another wall and put as texture the decal that you want that for me is mutch more simple but althoug I am not very used to deal with decals :zonked:

I am tring to compile a map with +/- 3mg and with 256mb/ram, but the compile process is to slow. last time i tried it it has taken more than 1 hour but I needed the pc so I have to shut down hammer. is this normal??I am not using zonner's tools because it gives me an compile error with zonner's tools but with the tools form hammer it compiles the map...but is too slow.tnks ;)

The drive is g: because I put all my maps ina a memory flash. I realy can?t understand the problem can I fix it. Tahnk you for being so "friendly"(I can?'t find the words) to forigners. And by the way I am Portuguese. And I realy want to fix the problem ;)
