I would like to have a mental console in my head where can I type different commands in different situations . Examples :

If I'm having a fight with somebody and we are continuously arguing and that somebody is right and I'm wrong , I'll type the following :

Often I would like to use this :

It's harder to watch a line that goes in hundreds of directions than using leak marker, BUT ...
From your response I can tell several things about you :

1.You didn't read my post correctly.I said that I put a block where leakmarker indicated a leak , and the leak disappeared.
2.You do not have a troll license. You're busted :lol:

The default rookie mappers problem . Wait a second , I verify my map and when I build something I'm careful not to cause a leak , and the compiler still fucks my map .

I'm working at my compo , and that's why I need your help. My map is growing, and leaks appear mysteriously . But they don't appear near the last area I built , they appear in the first sections of the map , sections that passed through more than 15 compiles with brio . Using leakmarker, I saw leaks even in the first chamber of the map . If I put a big cube to cover that room, the leak disappears.

Why do leaks appear in sections of the map that don't have problems ?!

cyclers are bugged
Well then, how do I insert a model in hl if not using cyclers ?!
It's only a small problem i've detected : if you shoot the cycler it bleeds .If you shoot the cycler and the model has animations , it will cycle between animations(for example there's a skeleton model in hl, if you put that as a cycler in hl and shoot it , tho skeleton will rise and sit on his bone ass !)

The main problem with this assault is that whatever building you see, you can enter it. Unlike other assault modifications, my modification has lots of cool places ...

I had to delete a part of the map . A big part of the map. And this only because the r_speeds were high in that area and the compilation time was more than 4 hours. Furthermore, I will have to use the -sparse command and bevel texture. I hit the maximum patches limit.

Yeah, thats why i have so many. I stuck to small maps with no more than 1 or two rooms to prevent vis problems.

You guys are lucky . I have to deal with people which are telling me they have "Windows Vista Xp 3" installed on their computer .
I consider myself bad at computers , but that's shit .

Last year I managed to get clean , without viruses , spyware or trojans . 1 year !
This year I got infected and had to reformat my pc ...

I also want to ask you something . I currently have installed "Comodo Firewall pro" and "Avast" antivirus . Do I need more for better protection ? And these programs that I currently have ( I'm only using free software , but somewhere in the future I want to buy a BitDefender license (btw , it's a romanian product :P )) are good ?

I changed from avg to avast only because I heard it's better . zoyks ! Avast found trojans and viruses avg never thought about them .

And for system performance I always do a defrag with SmartDefrag per week .And some registry scans with Advanced windows care.

I just don't to overbright it with too many lightsources.
Besides , the compiler will give you a "too many light styles on a face" that way .
In my imagination , the perfect atmosphere in a small chamber are 3-4 light sources with almost the same color , but different intensities .

I would probably suggest to delete those overhead lights and adding just some mini-light points for athmosphere .Most of the light should come from the computers and pieces of technology in your lab . Sure , that will create the impression of "cold" because of the blue light emitted by those textures .
Heh , but what laboratory in real-life is a "warm" place ? :P

There is an " All Players" flag if you want it to appear to all players . So yes , it only appears to the one that triggered it .

irst of all there isnt a channel right under the radar.
You manually specify the text location .
third, the location under the radar never disapears, unlike game_texts and it is not triggered, unlike game texts.
It was just a suggestion .

Omg 9 maps . That's almost a mod !! I didn't start my second map until now and you have 9 maps :o .
DO you have a time stopping machine ? :lol: I don't have that amount of time :x

Friday I'll begin the work of my second map , and that's the last map .

Btw , the map is quite huge and the zhlt tools compiles them in under 15 minutes :o and VIS is set to normal . And I don't havw quad core , I have dual core .

[EDIT] Oh man I'm beginning to think if I will post or not a compo entry . I have 0.5 % chances to have at most the third place ? lol !

One can tell Irfan view is a ultra-compact photoshop without the ability to modify the picture directly using drawing tools .

Err ... I'm not good at telling you what Irfan does . I use it too . It's a lot faster than Photoshop when I need to resize , change color and this basic things .

So it's like this : Wall disappears => can walk through it
Wall appears => can't walk through it
I think you get the idea . I know something about func_wall_toggle but I never used it . Can you tell me exactly how's this made ?

Hi I have a new mapping problem . I'm working at my compo this week ( I think it's the last one) very hard and something is disturbing me .
A stupid weird error occurs in some places, especially where I have trigger_once brushes .
That scarry "Send/Don't Send" Error appears .

At first this only happened in a place where if you aren't attentive , the floor cracks and you fall in a pit . But you don't die , you have a second chance . Well you have a second chance in that chamber that is trying to confuse you ( I'll tell you from now : What's obvious to do just makes you die ) . You arrive there by being teleported when you fall in that pit .
The problem was that I put a trigger_once over the "info_teleport_destination" entity and that caused the error . I deleted the trigger_once and it worked normally .
Now it repeats that again . And in other places sometimes too . I only hope this won't happen on Daubster or Grim's PC .

Does somebody has any idea why is this happening ?
