Dunno shomehow I have the feeling some people are going into asshole mode here in TWHL, maybe they should remember they started @ zero too one day. Admer456 since you are really young and allready made a lot of cool maps, I think you are able to do even better, maybe I should teach you how to use some stuff in a better way.

Also Vodka, I like your ideas about a mine cs map but there isn´t much to see yet :) Also keep working on the maps, it is the only way to get better.

I think every new mapper is really welcome in such a dead and unfriendly community.

I hope you will use a lot of clipbrushes Archie or you will have a lot of movement problems there for skilled players.
LJ,Bunnyhop and so on. Otherwise it looks really great :)

Still no idea which map I will recreate... meh... somehow crossfire doesnt feel right for me this time after seeing what Archie did >:D

Instant Mix, looks wonderfull, you can do some magic to the glass with vlht zhlt_embedlightmap is the stuff you need ;)

Okay, here is the plan:

Engine: Goldsource
Mod: Doesn´t matter.
Rules: Recreate a deathmatchmap, also you are allowed to expand it.
You can make it a deathmatch map, bomb/defuse, capture the flag or
singleplayer map
Time: When Posted by Penguinboy it starts 3 month deadline.

What you can win: I will offer a random good rated Game, maybe someone
else also want to send in some prices.
If someone want to adjust/change this, feel free to do it.

oh yeah I was part of 2 reinvent a original hldm maps, so yeah a good point, i´m thinkin about that too :)

I´m happy that people are still alive and want to do something again! :)

So some Ideas about we could do:

DM Map - SP Maps - Maybe Sven Co-op Maps ( Because of higher limits )

Normal Mapcompetition - Collab Maps - A small SP Storyline where all work together

I´m fine for everything, so you guys decide it :)

actually there is no limit and this methode was not used at all in any sp mod I know about.

The best part is you can use 512x512 textures and can scale them down to 0.1x0.1 without any fps drop and it looks fantastic :D

And you can force detailtextures to bet set on with a custom config for your sp mod.
