Either show evidence from the start or don't post such things, this stirring up is no good, only divides people. I see this more as a bad joke than anything serious. A lock would be fine untill evidence shows up - or not.

The appropriate thing to do would be to apoligize.

To anyone who uses other people's work (screenshots, maps, copying in school exams, etc.) you are wasting your time. If you try to confuse others into thinking that you work well, they'll be more dissapointed when they see your true nature. In other words, dont build a hype around you if you cant live up to it.

This applies to other situations in life. Imagine, for example, that someone asks you to write an essay, and you work day and night to make something really good. From then on, you'll be asked to produce work of that level, and you wont always be able to!!

Trapt made his post based on someone's opinion, you can't just go around saying 'omg this is wrong habboi is right' because what he's saying is just another opinion too. It's all a matter of who's opinion you choose to listen to, it seems most of you take habboi's explanation over the one Trapt is referring too, that's fine, but you can't say "Trapt was wrong habboi is right" because its all opinionated and you cant be sure its true fact. Not that I'm taking sides, either could be true, but he doesn't owe anyone anything, I don't remember him saying "I'm right omg this is fact" or anything, so he has nothing to rectify really (other than posting additional info), so unless you guys have solid proof and can identify the actual story then noone is right, so quit saying people are wrong and just prove it and get this over with. I'm not going to lock this unless people keep spamming with COMPLETELY USELESS crap, it seems there's a valid discussion going on, no matter what it's over.

Edit: Kasperg has good advice. It's true, if you know you can't deliver and use other people's work to show off, they might be impressed but they certainly won't be when they find out it's someone elses stuff or that you really can't deliver.

Problem solved.

1. Trapt WAS doing the right thing. He didn't flame habboi at the start, he only gave info on something that might have happened.

2. Even if the info isn't true, Habboi can't ask Trapt to apologize, because it's not his fault if the info wasn't true. If you really 'feel hurt' then the only way to actually make him apologize is to sue him.

3. I'm on Trapt's side, because he didn't do anything wrong. His actions were pretty reasonable and even if he posted the info, because he doesn't like habboi - he still did the right thing.

4. And seriously. Would you apologize an enemy of yours even if you were wrong? Sure, you could say 'I'm sorry', but I bet that everyone would know that those words have 'FUCK YOU' all over them..
I mean, you just wouldn't mean it. So that wouldn't be much of an apology.

I think someone at the Nighfall team wanted to get back at Habboi. And then Trapt has to come in here and be a big crybaby about it and make a huge deal about it when it really isnt. I really hate it when people think with their emotions instead of using their brain.

I think Habboi is innocent and his TWHL tribute was very good...I dont think he would go so low to steal maps he could make himself.
