People are just acting like assholes cos they think it's cool to hate America.I realised today that I dislike american television because of the generic american accent
Would it be possible for anyone here to describe the American accent? To put a quick example. Words that end with the letter "r" are pronounced differently in American and UK English. For example 'Winter' is pronounced 'wintr in the U.S, but in the UK it is 'wint? with a final undetermined vowel (or however you call that. I used to know how to write phonetics...)
I want a British accent, they sound coolWhy thank you.
I have spoken to a Scottsman and an Englishman, and I note no noticeable difference either. You're deaf, kek. I mean, seriously, it's like 2 different languages. Almost.
You lead us to believe that there are no memorial days in small European countries Zombieman... Is this so?Apart from November 11th (end of either WWII or WWI, i forget which), which is pretty much universal in Europe, Britain doesn't have that many memorial days, at least not as far as i can remember. We have Guy fawkes night, but thats more "lets burn him" thing.
Jeez people. Its a memorial thread, not a holiday to honor evil.Quote where it was proclaimed as a holiday of evil and we'll - or at least i will admit that i was wrong.
You're the only one capable of acknowledging your errors. Its only my job to mention them.Isn't quoting it mentioning my errors and the me acknowledging them we be for me to admit it was an error? And not to acknowledge would be to argue it or shake it off?
