Oh man, when I asked that last question, I must have been really tired, or oblivious to the comments around me. Yeah, I know who Adam Savage is. It was in part the way it was phrased ("your Savage", and notice I said "a Savage", as if it was a creature or something) that screwed me up. Were there different versions or something?

Strideh - the paperwork had to be filed, but yes, now NineTnine is officially a fucking idiot.

And i've been working my ass off on this.
I haven't posted screenshots because I was the last person to do so, and it's somebody else's turn for continuinity.

I must say that I, myself am a bit pissed off at the rest of the team (except srry and Daubster, who i know are working at a steady pace)

well, i can tell you that chapter 5 is playable in its current state. I'm trying to fix some puzzles in, to spare from the non-stop action.

Calm yourself, Sergeant. If they dont know how to do it, you'll teach him to! If you tell them to jump, then they will jump! If you tell them to die! They will die! If one of them is not even working on the mod, kick him out. There will always be more eager people on the net to do it instead of them. Or you could just expand the team.

But since %80 of the mod is finished, there isn't much to worry about. You can even finish the %20 yourself, right? (if they are not working, of course, or it would be disrespectfull.)

Small update:

I've been working on my car chase map almost all day, and it's nearly done, except for a couple bugs I need to iron out, a very short ending cut scene, and the audio (including voices.) After that, it's on to the larger part of my chapter, the city... /me silently dreads the thought of mapping a city

a good thing is to use highways, because alot of the time (here, anyway) highways have sound barriers on either side, about 2-3m high. it would be a great way to block the player's view.

p.s. put TONS of graffitti on them

Not only will his superb mapping skills bring something exciting and fresh to HS, but also, his fame will make media spots when this is released a lot easier to aquire.

Well it's definately some motivation for me, as I grew tired of making hldm maps I never even play. Idol Hunt proved I suck at storytelling on my own.
(Just don't ask me to do any Source-related things right now. Hammer4 and me have decided to give ourselves some time to think about our relationship, specially since Cryengine and UnrealEngine are thinking about moving into the neighborhood)

Dont get very excited about Lieutenant Kas being on the team. Of course, his mapping skills are great but that means the whole team needs to work as much as him to balance the quality of the mod.
