The Unlimited Detail engine, now deemed "Euclideon" engine is back and massive jizz worthy.
Its 4 months old but I didn't realize he came back after a year of undercover development on his science-fiction-become-reality tiered graphics engine.
I was always a bit of a skeptic about this project, though always hoping it was a real thing. The ONLY discernible proof is in the LONG interview video where the reporter picks up the controller and fucking plays it himself.
Look at the videos on youtube.
This means there isn't a next generation of graphics, there is a next era of graphics. The era of real objects and people being topographically scanned into the computer. I seriously wonder what this means for games, artists, programmers, etc.
Thoughts?
