I think it only took them less than a week, so not that much.
Apparently this program used to cost nearly $3000. Combined with the price of all that new equipment and a SVGA that is supported by the Vibrant driver, a total of $12k. Wow. Yet people complain that 3ds Max is costly.

Thank you for your comments! I have now updated the map with overhauled lighting and additional details. Feel free to have another look at it if you want to.

Played on hard. Simpler version of "we've got hostiles" from half life. It felt like a sven coop map kinda because of the basic design, although the combat is pretty nice. The optional side rewards at first makes a huge difference later on in the game, there's also more creative ways to go about the harder battles. I'd say this is a combat oriented map and the battles are designed pretty well, good for a challenge but since I took the side path it was fairly easy. Otherwise this might be a tough challenge I imagine.

Not at all half bad! An enjoyable singleplayer level in the style of the "We've got hostiles" chapter.
Why in the world did you include a liblist.gam and a bunch of resource files? That's totally unnecessary if there's no custom content like models, sprites and sound at all.
My only complaint is the overal lighting of the map, I find it a bit bland. I would'nt say boring, but uninteresting. I mean, take a look at the thumbnail screenshot above, the ceiling is almost pitch black. Could be my monitor brightness setting, but you did pick a pretty dark texture for the ceilings. You could've spruced up your ceilings with smaller lights for example, as well as cables, pipes, small electronics like power boxes lit by small spotlights, stuff like that, or instead of having one big brush making up the ceiling of one room, break it up a bit, have support beams, or mix in some other textures.
Other than that, a well layed out map.

Cool! Does it play? This is hard to implement. I just added my new map "Forgotten Bunker 2" in the vault and it contains a record player (look near the end of the trailer video). Yours looks better though ; )

You actually make a good point. My old Rio was much heavier than I realised. We had to winch it onto the recovery truck only to realise the back nearside wheel had seized up after three months on the driveway. Took three of us to lift the one wheel off the ground.

"New car is only a 1248cc compared to the previous 1399, but it actually feels much more powerful."
Some factors - weight (obvious that cars of this year are lighter and faster than ever), gearbox (better ratios/more gears).
Take for example my 1997 BMW 318i E36 - I call her the PanzerWagen because of how heavy the bitch is, but compared to today's standards, this thing can take a serious RAM and still be repaired to almost a new condition. However, I saw a 2014 Honda Accord get torn apart like a sardine can... Newer cars are light weight and all sure, but they're even able to get dented when kicked by a football...
We also had a 2014 Nissan Altima - both cars were a 4 Cylinder engine, but the Altima (if I recall correctly) had 6/7 gears, one of them, but the car was so light and fragile that the little engine it had PULLED the damn thing to 0-140 kmph faster than the PanzerWagen would go, whilst my tank could only pull 200 @ about 4700 RPM on it's 4th and Final gear.
Gearboxes are AMAZING.

No it isn't. As is smoking and other things.

Btw, I recommend using FuelLog (Android app). I've been using it for just a little over a year now, trying to log in each time I fueled up the tank, and for each revision and change of parts, insurance, etc. It gives you detailed statistics and the average running costs.

Nice! Drive safe and without events and may the car serve you well.
I think your old car had the most basic package, otherwise it's hard to find cars after 2000 without air-con and electric windows. What's the spec on this one? (the engine?)

Congrats! I love my sister's kids and am very close to them and it has been so nice to see them develop throughout the years. It's very rewarding to be close to kids you care about. I hope you can be a good part of that kid's life. It's worth so much. Can't wait to be a parent.

I miss exploding people with you.
Happy NaNth birthday!
I literally didn't know the answer to half of these even with some googling, so i'll just take potatis_invalid's answer.
