Make it more interesting! Use lots of detail since it's only going to be 1 on 1. That means you have enough polys to spare since you will only be able to see 1 player model, so that wouldn't contribute as much to the epolies.

Heh, thanks. I might. I got an improved version of that map. With some more trees and more.
The rotating wheel affect is achieved by making the wheel rotate around their own axis, next to their normal func_train movement. I only add -180 0 0 to the xyz values of the func_trains. Take a look.

Oh, BTW, your compo 12 entry/winner was really awsome. Very realistic looking and very true to the reference photos. You should include it under your profile so people can send you comments. Great Job!

I loved it. Good use of archetecture and enemy placement. Kinda crept around corners and glock sniped everyone. The rooms were too small for enemies to maneuver around and fight. Overall: 4 stars!

My favourite is the blade chopper which can chop people in half or into gibs lol

Anyway I was told that it was too hard and I only wanted to recreate what I saw in the videos before HL2 was released...
I saw this bit where he dropped down, and there was this open area where zombies where coming from everywhere and he turned the blade trap on.
The zombies walked into it but one got cut in half and I wanted to recreate that lol.
