Commercial disks last around 25 years. And that is due to reflective coating oxidizing due to air around it.
Golden coating disks can last up to 100 years.

What is more important than some glass disks is a disk writter or burner, it has to be high quality and you have to use good quality disks. Not hyped Verbatim or other crap. Popular brands were TDK, Sony Japan, Maxell, etc.

If they want long lasting pictures they should make an album.

That's the same thing in the mod Contest Island. I could try and remake the thing, and it's not so hard to make, it's not smooth.

The opposite is the Zastava 750. The surface is very smooth. Smooth surface = a lot of polygons. It will be so funny, because it's like the VW Beetle.

There's already a Mercedes S280 in a mod for Far Cry. The mod is called Contest Island: Invasion.

I'm planning to make a Zastava 750 (a classic Yugoslavian car), an Opel Kadett Caravan, a Volkswagen Scirocco, and 2 or 3 more cars.

CryEngine 1, the Far Cry engine:

It's 100x better than GoldSource, but it is very complex and hart to learn. But I was very determined to make maps for it, so it wasn't a problem.
