By the sound of it, i imagine that rig is going to be under a lot of pressure most of the time :P, so i wouldn't underestimate the cooling. See if you can find out how the interior will end up looking like and plan ahead to have a good airflow. Quick google search says 3 x 120mm fans, which sounds a bit weird. Also, by the look of it, there's really nothing trying to exhaust the gpu heat through the back. Imho, don't leave it at that; i'd add at least another fan at the front (they're really cheap). If you do add the bottom-front fan, try to install all your drives up, near the optical ones.

It all sounds pretty good, but I'd suggest jumping up to (at least) a 120GB SSD. Even if you're just putting Windows/apps on the SSD, you'll really want to have that extra bit of space available. That goes double if you want to dual-boot linux off the SSD as well. It's not much more expensive, and it's worth it IMO.
Remember that some apps are pretty huge (e.g. Photoshop, multiple versions of Visual Studio, etc) and space can get used up pretty quickly.

You're only having those dreams because you never reviewed HRAFD! Bwahah! It seems like the end of February really carried a lot of bad/weird shite along with it. Thankfully it wasn't Urby, because my drummer and I had ended up reenacting "Taken" IRL looking for her. It's a long story. Ant is merely a victim of circumstance, as is the rest of us.

That was a very weird dream.
Something that I always ask myself : why can't I remember any of my dreams ? The only one that I remember was when my house was on fire and I was like 8 years old (I'm now 20).

@Urby, @Striker: You guys weren't the only one. Stay safe and stay careful, look around and think twice.. I've got a terrible sixth sense today and like today everything seemed bad...

Oh, hi.
I recall a Dimbark, are you him? It was created for the feckin-mad server originally. The bison server was a side project several years later after creating a plugin to automatically convert the kz_ climb maps to function in TFC.
I shortened my alias to "watch" not long after making this map and have only played occasionally since about 2009/10, but feckin-mad is still running thanks to many kind souls donating server hosting over the years.
I did however make the sequel to this, stfu_and_climb2_beta1, it looked better and had monkeys! Speak to you in another 11 years!

I tried to do some code in Source 2004 and Source 2013 and it was a horrible experience so I sticked with GoldSource.
I enjoy some time with Unity for a small project. But it's not big and something that could be recreated on a custom engine.
Programming a mutator for KF2 (UE3) and making an unfinished Doom II MAP01 remake (not a copy/paste, job done, cya, but a complete overhaul to fit KF2's theme) also was fun.

Hey man if you're having fun, why go anywhere else? I like source for the amazing Input / Output system, and you have a lot more control over the AI. But it takes more effort to create something with the WOW factor

Opinions are great, but then there's steam stats webpage. CS 1.6 has been in the top 10 list ever since it's inception. I'd say, if you`re not concerned about monetizing from your mod, go ahead and spend your time with GS, it's going to be here for a long time no matter what skeptics say. With a few graphic engine tweaks here and there, Volvo could probably still pull enough money out of it, but alas... P.S.: Source/SDK is old AF too.

eyes Ant suspiciously
eyes Urby suspiciously

Surprisingly, I know a HL map with a tractor too
Quite detailed. You have a horrific imagination.
