Fun SP gameplay with some great attention to detail and consistency thoughout. (i can't wait to play the core)
It didn't really bother me that the map ended abruptly, since i felt you did a whole bunch of work for this little ssanta project. The only thing that bummed me out is i could not "unwrap" the gifts, aww. =')
Superb ssanta entry sir! and great to see you participating in this! i think Tetsu0 should get a standalone commendation for that alone! *****

Ha, and you call my work oddball!
++lovely snow texture(did you make it urself?) ++Superb construction +fun/strange merger of a grisly bear and a motorcycle and a santa hat! +Nice music and effects +Including the .rmf
I REALLY loved how the terrain and how the scene looked, even if some of the terrain looked blocky. It would be awesome to make a quick aim or fy map out of this =)
Simply gorgeous work and a beautiful addition to the ssanta project! *****
++Beautiful layouts and construction ++superb effects like the moving terrain on the train +some beautiful texturing +superb use of sounds +really cool theme. i felt i was in hong kong without the mountains and giant sea creature markets. =) ++Gameplay Fun and thoughtfully done +/-voice audio was i bit tough for me to understand but still good. -The question didn't pop up for me in the first train car fsr -what happens after you kill the fat baby, is that the end?
Superb construction throughout which by itself is worth 5 stars in my book. Add the gameplay and it makes it something very special. I was really blown away by the way you handled the moving terrain outside the train windows, just really great stuff all around. Please tell me you're entering the c32 contest!

very precisely and carefully done! After all these years, i finally understand what "not toggled" flag is for and now i truly understand exactly what the cue points do and why.
Superb work sir! this should be written up as a tutorial too!
EDIT: LOL it creates quite a cacoughpanously awesoome sound when you willy-nilly start pressing all the buttons! All kinds of ideas are popping up in my haed for some multiplayer maps using all these togglable sounds, but i'm sure it would wreak some seriousl havoc on a server.
Yoohoo TY! Love to see the new tutorials awarded as well, and i also agree, there should be some sort of way to award community coop organizers like Tetsu0.

A very solid entry although some issues lurk in the underbelly..
++really cool layout imo ++Cool gagetry! is there more cool stuff like the incinerator? +decent ambience +/-Nicely detailed in some ares and lacking in others +/-some nice lighting in areas +/-good use of the texture pack in areas, dreadful in others, and there scaling is a little crazy in places. -scale is a bit off in a lot of places -not a lot of small detailing in terms of wall/railing trims, props, etc
All in all a pretty solid entry though, despite the negatives. Looks like the layout would be really fun. Maybe PM potato_invalido and he could put it on the HLDM server to test.
Good map, lots of room for improvement, but some very nice bits just the same. 3.5 rounds up to 4. Could easily recieve full marks with some slight improvements.
thecoolgman: worked fine for me in WON. you're copying the content to the half-life folder NOT valve folder, and running it as a custom game, right? (i didn't even try it in steam yet)
Really cool btw Rim! Your map is reminding me that i nigh added any christmas theme to my map; oh well, there is always next year. =)
Really creative stuff, and a cool idea, hotdog will love it. =)

Yeah thank god almost nobody's map had gameplay; I figured i'd be instantly disqualified cuz mine also had none, so i was even more uproariously happy landing a spot.
Out off all the entries, Anvus was my favourite, closely followed by doggybag's de_Minestorm map.

there are some missing model materials for me, like the wooden light posts, but i just installed ep2, so i could be on my end.
