I've been really excited about this being the first competition that I'll enter. And then I just remembered how long it took to get the results for the last competition.

The second one could work pretty well in single player, if you were given a set of objectives in no particular order and you just had to do them all before getting to an extraction point.
I've never used Terragen 2 myself, but it should still work. In Terragen 1 it's possible to position the camera without scripts, I didn't even know scripts existed until I read the tutorial. It would likely be possible to do in Terragen 2. Just set the zoom to 1.0, and set the camera orientation yourself. Anyway, it's a good tutorial Jeff. Very handy.
I liked it. It reminded me of Soup Miner's Rooms entry. I liked the texturing and the brushwork, they worked together very well. However, the lighting was a tad dark. I think it would have been much better without the zombies, or at least if the zombie that spawns right next to you wasn't there. I think there should have also been a small light or something, as I had to use impulse 101 and turn the flashlight on before I knew there was even a lightswitch there. Other than that it was pretty much perfect. 3.8 stars from me, however if you fix those problems I will give it 4.5 stars.
I like it. You've done well with texturing I think, I'd say the reason the textures on the pillars aren't aligned right is because the original room is a bit taller. I like the ambience, texturing and lighting, and I can't fault the brushwork. I particularly like the way you did the ceiling next above the door on the stairs. All in all I'd give it 4.3 stars.

That sounds pretty much exactly like me. I've got to take medication for it to try and fix the problem, as it was the main cause of me failing my first year of uni.

I love Fallout 3! Although I didn't spend much time with character creation, not that I've ever seen my characters face after the start of the game. And go down to the crater in Megaton, north of it if I remember correctly (to the left of the path as you come into the town anyway), there is a bar that tends to sell a few food items out the front. A few days ago I had a dream in which I was the leader of a big citywide resistance, and our official goal was to destroy the fascist govornment run by none other that Adolf Hitler. But nobody knew that I started the whole thing simply because I wanted to steal a kickass Darth Vader figurine that Hitler had on his desk, and if I had an army with me then there's more targets for Hitlers gaurds and therefore less chance of me getting shot.
[Edit] I just realised this guy lives bloody close to where I did.
Anyway, it's a good tutorial Jeff. Very handy.
I was never really into racing games, but I got Midtown Madness 3 with my Xbox. It was pretty fun. I never got a chance to play 1 or 2 though.
Relatively cheap!

And according to the last news post, JeffMOD is as notable as E3.
I'm one of two people I know who likes the sound of orchestral music, and the other's my dad.
There's a lot of music I dislike, and unfortunately it seems to be the same type of music my housemates play on full volume every night.
