Meh Steampowered are evil.
It is a tad dark but it is playable, I see the players well on my computer. If it is too light then it loses its touch so I think it should be left as it is.

Also your name de_dust has already been taken by the Valve one which could cause confusion. Perhaps calling it the legendary de_dust3 which the maker of 1 and 2 decided not to use.

Make one where loads of Gmen start appearing and you have to shoot them. I downloaded this example map somewhere and it had a working crane in it and gman, Eli, Alyx etc with guns shooting at me :S

Looking good. Cliffs look a little flat, perhaps use the clip tool to make nice cliffs but the bridge type thing on your picture looks great and stuns me a lot
Take my secondchance mod map pack. I was all excited when I made it but I now realise what a piece of shit it is!
Take my de_boshi for instance, it is quite big and by the way it's still being made.

The ambience of this map is the best I have ever heard!
The level also suits the sounds and it looks so cool.
It's simple, beautiful and stunning.
My only negative is the mountains in the distance. They look a little to white due to the fog.
Apart from that well done!

I admit though, perhaps lower the water a bit because I couldn't reach it

There were far too many objects all over the floor which made walking around difficult cause the player was sliding everywhere.

I could jump up here and noticed the wires were off the holes slightly... Make them thinner or move them a bit to the right.

Yeah I know pillars are not all round but yours look well blocky no offence.
