he was jealous of me, knew my comments on his map were accurate and correct, but was too arrogant to do anything about it aside from bitch and moan. so he left.

you faggot. the game lets people buy new weapons and abilities and shit through microtransactions. thus people get advantages for giving EA money. massive fail.
next time don't comment with a smartass comeback if you don't know what you're talking about.

Yeah, I've completely dislocated my kneecap twice. Once five years ago when I was only 12 and again about 5 weeks ago. Mine goes out and stays out until the leg is straightened out which is pretty much impossible to do without someone else doing it. It also hurts like hell.
Needed a knee brace and crutches for 3 weeks or so, and am now doing a shitload of intensive physio so it doesn't happen again. It probably will though, according to every doctor, surgeon and physio I've seen.

Yet another teriffic map, Remmiz.
I didn't actually work out how to do the first puzzle, and got it simply through luck. ^_^
Again, some of the faces which you could shoot portals onto were a little dodgy: you could only place them on a certain little area of it or some such.
During the flinging section, I got stuck a few times on the angled platforms and had to noclip out of them.
Aside from a few bugs here and there, this map lived up to the standard of the original and provided me with a somewhat challenging and very enjoyable experience.

Enjoyed it a lot. You stuck to VALVe's style and I like that.
There are a couple of bugs I noticed though: -You can get stuck in the timed door if it closes as you go through it. Make it crush the player or something. -The surface at the end of the corridor in the last part of the chamber after you've pressed the first button down and you need to shoot a portal down to the other end to get to the cube protected by turret... it's kind of dodgy. It won't let you shoot portals on the left side, and sometimes the right. It seems random.
Either way, I enjoyed the map and it seemed well made. Good job.
Yes, it was a drop in standard. Your dedication map was (somewhat) decent, and this was certainly a step backwards in terms of standard.
Vertical depth and in general more interesting architecture on the buildings were certainly possible. Your buildings almost seemed like textured blocks with windows on them.
As for the criticism, I apologise for maybe seeming too harsh, but it's how I feel on the matter and I'd like my opinion to be noted. And yes, NAUGHTY KASPERG!
I don't know how I'm going to do this without sounding like an arsehole, but I'll try (since you've been so nice to me lately).
This map is WAY below your standards, Mr. Habboi. No displacements and blocky architecture meant the only real improvements over the original was the lighting and 3d skybox.
Also, you've marked the map as CS:S, and you've got the zip set up with HL2 structure! This is RIDICULOUS, as if you open in CS:S there are no player starts, and if you open in HL2 there are a whole bunch of missing textures which you should've included in the zip. Asking people to copy over CS:S textures to HL2 is stupid, especially when people won't know WHICH to copy over and would have to copy all of them over.
Habboi, I know you can do better than this. I was seriously disappointed with this effort.

This map is beautiful. Probably the best looking map which was entered. However, its beauty was hindered by its horrible gameplay. 1nsane created a sexy map which used the Z axis better than any other entry, but all of the thin catwalks and props made it very difficult to move, and doors completely buggered up the flow. The map used the rules better than other entrants (such as the Z axis and the RPG trap) and looked awesome, which is why it got third position. It is also worth noting that even though I created the layout, I often found myself confused about where the hell I was going. Odd.
The entry featured the best RPG trap. It was difficult to reach, and although not incredibly dangerous to get, it worked very effectivly. The entrance to the trap was easy to find, but not incredibly obvious, meaning that the adventurous players should find it quickly.
Overall, a beautiful map which was spoilt by bad gameplay decisions such as doors.
oh yeah.
enjoy your beer(s)
best wishes, my friend.
high school is certainly not free though... school fees n shit. at least at my school.
Also, fail for reviewing a game on the first day you get it.

Looks good though.
The Desmond episode in Season 4 blew my mind. Pure brilliance.
No, all the models are from the mod Dystopia, and made by various people on the mod team, as said in the map description.

4 stars yet again, my friend.
