Sometimes a map doesnt need to be funny. Stuff like that what you just listed spoils a map, thats my opinion. This map can be funny too, just think of all the situations you could get into, every round being both different and same. I tried to make realism here, in the battlefield you dont have time to climb up a tree and build yourself a house there, in reality you dig, which I did plan on doing here.

Dont get me wrong, I do appreciate your rating and comments. Just had to speak up a bit :)

wad include would be the prefered method yes, I tried to do a nowadtextures, which only binds the textures I used to the map, from all the wads I had used... no idea why it didnt work here.

I though I've fixed that in the fixes before I released it... I'll investigate and possibly make an update (in the army atm so its kinda hard to find free time)

Remember to go to that server and request the map changed to QS2... if enough people vote for it, the map will change :)

Why bother to download if nobody plays it. Maybe if it got popular and it had a server where people would play it, maybe then it would get doenloaded more.

But as the server its on doesnt want to play it alot since its not that fast to download via steam and not all the casual CS players know how to even add a map manualy...it "scares" players from the server and therefore we play it rarely.

I have drawn the blueprints of Quickshot3, it will be bigger and will be more playable (not a maze like the 2 earlier ones have been). But I dont think I'm going to finish QS3 anytime soon...I have other plans to spend my time on.

its a spray texture, gives me an headache. It would have taken you 30 more seconds to aply some different textures to them and align them good, but instead you use this spray. SEIZURE !

There is a problem with the board. When you perform a hop straight upwards once on the plank, the push entity will not stop...currently working on it to make the push entity only last for a second or 2

Yeah I figured that empty space just a while ago myself when I went to test the map again.

I had trouble with the angles with the push, I posted about it in the forum and got some answers. Up is a better direction than straigh forward, which would just shoot you off of the board, therefor not being "realistic" at all.

I'll try if editing the multiple and try different timers. I also did try adding multiple push entities but In my own opinion, it got crewd more than fixed with more than 2.

I'm already planning to make a MP map with some of these, probably some entry for the water competion aswell....now everyone can copy my idea and the competion will be flooded with different kinds of boards :nuts:

Actualy I'm old school, I map with an old worldcraft editor and old fgd files so I dont have a env_rain in my list :)

It doesnt differ from the fy version, well not alot. Some doors were changed a bit, the italy quitar music was taken away and the rain and wind ambient sound was added along with the rain. Also some of the people who playd the fy version sayd it would be good to have a de version aswell, so I gave it a try.

Thanks for the comments rowleybob, there arent many people like you out there, who actualy test and rate other peoples maps.

It does have 9 respawns on each side. And I finaly got enough players to test playability,was quite fun indeed :)

yeah I guess I a little overdid the blocking part, as for the weapons. I made them to be more like a teaser. I couldnt find anything to suit that map in ambience sounds so I placed 2 music files in it, which I didnt like either.

Hostages I tried but I ended up removing them as they were too easy to rescue due to the many routes available. a bomb came to my mind but that map is too small for 2 bomb locations, unless you happen to have some suggestions.
