SilentGunz: Usually those errors occur, if they occur, on all systems, so this is quite strange. Have your tried playing the map on both, WON and Steam? SO far nobody else had this problem. WHat are your system specs?

There's the update.
I replaced the .zip file - hopefully no more problems now.
I also uploaded a screenshot, free your browser cache to see it.

Now for the appologies:
BL - sorry that I couldn't use the TWHLmix acc ti upload it
m_gargantua - sorry that I had to use text messages instead of voice acting, we'll certainly be more flexible on twhlmix2
gman - sorry that i couldn't fic those ugly lightmap edges in the entering hallway, but even with thrice as many patches it didn't improve
everybody experiencing problems with the zip - sorry for that, problem hopefully fixed now

ENJOY!

Whoof!
A lot has changed since I saw this the last time.
This is probably the map that brought me the most joy in the vault.

There are a few gameplaybugs, but nothing they player can't overcome with noclip.

I found the ZELDA like puzzle really good. And the end is very ... tempting. The music fits great.

Well done!

Geil!

Brrrrp!
This map is unacceptable.
Your VISing is totally screwed, which results in w_polies far beyond 4000. Almost everywhere the entire map is rendered.
Also the map is way too dark for HLDM.
I don't know how it plays, but I think that the architecture and size of the rooms might cause several problems when fighting in them.

Indeed another good map with some extraordinary features.
Volumetric lights! Hehe.
The fire was also very nice for good old HL.
Maybe you'll find some time to finish this map.
I'd be glad to see what it was supposed to become.

Hehe, the good old mirrored crate trick, eh?
You've had some good ideas in there. I liked the laser that was splitt into it's light spectrum.
But why did you add a light maze, why?
Anyway, an interesting map.
I've had fun playing it. And it came with a fresh pot of cannabis. :)
Good work.

You've had a quite cool idea, but you didn't use it's potential.
Basically this is nothing more than Serious Sam on a glass planet.
If you make this kind of terrain, you must pay much attention to good clipping. It's annoying to get stuck every 10 meters.
I would have wished for some more interactivity.
The indoor design is much more interesting than the outside.
All in all:
+ Brushwork
- Entitywork
- Clipping
Three stars.

Probably the best submission since I've come here.
One single map, with a little story, quite good mapping and no nasty mapping bugs.
Good work!

Quite nice.
The pillars look stupid though, remove the basements.
These are no greek style pillars. :D

Why do all people upload their compo entries?
They are available when the results are out.
Anyway the screenshot looks auspicious, I'm downloading it right now.

Start with the gauss?
Hm, I'm afraid that's a bug.

The quality is really good.
But it way too short. You could try to make a real mod out of it.
I don't know the TV show, but I think you could use it to extend the mod.

I doubt that it's because of my pc.
The fps is quite ok before the tunnel, only the camera moves strangely.
A tip to reduce your r_speeds: Your second level has quite dense fog, the actual distance of view is very short. The zhlts have a feature called 'maxvisdistance' use it with the same distance of the fog to reduce the r_seeds.

Because my pc sux.
R_speeds are important.
I know that it's a poem, but why did he make those maps.
There's nothing cool, just a village and some text.
Of course I'm critical.

What's that supposed to be?
I didn't like it at all. It's 10 megabytes big though 5 or less would have been enough.
You inlcuded thousands of unnecessary files. The only map files that are required are the .bsp files.
You included your savegames and your config file.
There is nothing happening at all, basically you're just reading this strange story.
The r_speeds are super high. There's no detail at all and the r_speeds in the tunnel with the dripping water are like 1300.
You could've done this with 300-400.
It was already mentioned that the camera is too slow. Plus, it does, for some reason, move very laggy.
I didn't like it.

As I said, I built them on a LAN party in no time.
Of course I can do better, but I wont change these anymore.
We gotta play them a least once. 4 players are enoguh for big action.
