OH! I know how!!!!!!!
Copy your hl.dll from valve folder and put it in your ctsrike/dlls folder( DO NOT OVERWRITE MP.DLL!)

+localinfo mm_gamedll dlls/hl.dll
Copy and paste that a the end of the "target" line in your shortcut to cs (if you dont use a shortcut make one)

Now you will have a counter strike that supports everything from Half Life and everything from Counter strike!!! Map some maps, insert some monsters, see if it works! (it should, Ive been able to combine dlls this way with bots and metamod etc)

In throey HL models indeed should work. because int heory, the model does not exist so it should be uploaded. But of course, the server must allow the upload.

You mean you were playing a map with a desert sky and you changed to yours and it was still desert or you mean you were playing your map with a desert sky and changed to another map, and that map had a desert sky? In case of scenario 2, you changed to a map with no designated skyname. Maps like this (crossfire for example) have skies cary over from previous maps.

People wont see replacement models unless you precache them onto your server. You see, everyone else already has v_elite or P_crowbar etc just like you so they wont be uploaded because they lready exist. For people to see something new I guess somehow you would need to have new names for them and still have them work. But I doubt thats possible

Actually theres a command in the controls that you can set a key to that will bring up a menu. One of the options is to switch all weapons from right hand to left hand or from left hand to right hand. Just keep them and use that.

It means that the server is using a p_usp model that must be the same with other players to connect. I never use new p_models or w_models unless they look reeeeeeally good. Theres often a consistancy error. Get back all your default p_models in other words.

Well I just figured out that you can manualy upload files to a server by using the console command "upload" (no dip). But when I try to specify a filename it says: Ignoring upload of non-customization. Anyone else ever had this problem before?

Get some bots or actuall have people join your server. As for captain P, at least he gave help. I'm talking about just flat out saying "This map is shit!". I dont like that, its discouraging, makes you think mapping isnt worth it.

I run int servers that allow uploads all the time, but the weird thing is i used to be able to have models on my own server, now i cant. and I didnt change a thing. Awww. too bad too, I was using gargatua as a model

yeah I can change the sky, and can add in anything I want even blocks, just make a func_wall in worldrcraft, compile the map, and rip it, and paste that vlock inot assault or whatever, its just the lights that arent working

I seriously doubt there are any leaks in de_dust and cs_assault. well the values are correct I made sure that I did the right re-importing so it must have to do with the rad file

Sorry to spam, just remebered something else. You cannot change from one custom model to another in mid game, the tansition wont work and you will just look like a default player to others. So you must disconnect if you want to look new

But you MUST remeber this, because it works like a custom spray, some servers will not allow the upload of your model. If a server doesnt allow custom sprays, your model will not be uploaded either.

Have you ever been bored with the default models? Perhaps you got some replacement models but thought they were so cool that you just wish everyone else could see what you look like. Yesterday i thought the same thing, I found a ton of custom player models that I have downloaded over time in my tfc folder and thought to myself,
Hey! I bet I could make a model work the same as a spraypaint!!!

Much like a custom spray a model can also be uploaded to the server you are playing in! And others will see the model that you are using!!!
Here's how to do it:

Make a new folder in your models/player folder and name it the name of the model you want to use. Paste the model you want to use in that folder and make bmp and name it the same name as the model also (so you know which one it is when in the customize screen) Now when you select your spankin new model any server you join will upload that model and people can see you as whatever you want to be!!! Try this, be a headcrab, big fun, very funny

Should work if you go into advanced mode and add one that says weapon_usp or weapon_glock18 then the pistols should be there

Ok, now that I know how to rip (hack) I have run into my first problem. I try to change a light environment but when I rnu the map the light hasnt changed at all! I try the same thing on a normal light, sameproblem. Now I know most of you have probably never ripped a map before but do you know whats going on?

No, its as_maps only and thats because its an as map. Could be a glitch or it could be on purpose but if a map is an as_map ther will bo no shotguns/machines guns/mp5's/other weapons
