it just says "access denied", which it obviously isn't

Im using command:

copy D:i386ntfs.sys drive C:windowssystem32drivers

but this is just saying "not reconized" etc..
So which is it saying? I don't think you can write to an NTFS partition lacking "write" permissions for everyone with the XP CD. Now, the 2000 Advanced Server boot CD will ignore NTFS permissions completely...

I just think that Lordi's type of music and bands similar to them are incredibly silly.
Of course they are, but they're amusing :D. The lead singer sounds quite human. I read him saying something, when somebody asked about the ridiculous garb, along the lines of "well, without the masks, we're just guys who walk the dogs".

Did you only call me "Seventh-Monkey" 'cos you were cross? ;)

1. You have to do horrible hacks with a func_door. Look at Counter-Map, they have a tutorial on it.

2. No. You need a trigger_weaponstrip, I think.

3. Don't think you can.

4. Er, same as you would add any sprite.

Brush four, which is in entity fifty-five.

You've re-saved the .MAP, right? Just re-saving the .RMF won't re-save the .MAP too; only compiling or manually saving a .MAP will.

You should always do a full compile for the final release of a map. Often gives better performance, nicer lighting, fewer VIS glitches, etc.

Hmm, I see what you mean... looks like a good idea. It could get difficult to retreive this info though, probably some looking around in the registry... and it would only work for Windows then (though I really don't know if this tool works on Linux in it's current shape :P).
Isn't it VC++ .NET? Yeah, definitely a registry job though.
You could make an invalid entity/texture brush at the object, that has bad surface extents, for newbies to find it easier.
I thought about that, but can't see that it would actually help at all. Perhaps texturing offending surfaces with AAATRIGGER, though, so one could easily see which face was messed up.
