Is Hammer (HL1 Hammer) compatible with Win. 7. I'm using and everything seems to work fine that is until I try to add an ambiance sound which won't play. I've extracted the audio out of the gcf and into gearbox/sounds (this is for op4) but the sound won't play. I've done this before (on my TZS map) and the only differences now are I'm using op4 instead of HL and I got a new Windows 7 laptop.
But anyway the map will be a relatively short SP map for Opposing Force. You are a soldier and you and your squad have been pushed back into retreat by xenian forces. You take shelter in an abandoned military outpost to the north only to be ambushed in the night by them, you wake up to find your squad decimated and must escape the base. (This map doesn't take place anywhere near the BMRF, it is much farther north)
That's the basics of it.

Barney rides the tram into the bowels of Black Mesa.

Barney arrives to find that just about everything in the facility is broken. Including the elevator that he's in.
DUTY CALLS
Barney wades thru rusty canals poaching innocent animals.
CAPTIVE FREIGHT
Barney comes across US Marines who were secretly exporting scientists in large shipping containers to foreign countries.
FOCAL POINT
Rosenberg sends Barney to the border world to collect the skins of alien lifeforms which can be sold for a handsome profit.
POWER STRUGGLE
Barney takes 3 hours to figure out the puzzle near the coolant bay.
A LEAP OF FAITH
Barney discovers that turning a steam valve and pressing a button is all it takes to successfully operate a massive prototype teleportation machine.
DELIVERANCE
Barney escapes from Black Mesa, but he realizes deep within his heart that he will always be a security guard, one way or another. To that end, he becomes a mall security guard until the Combine took over Earth. From there he joins Civil Protection, which, much to his pleasant surprise, is actually the equivalent of a Combine Security Guard. Barney ponders if he can actually do something useful for society in the near future...

I am probably the only gamer who plays GTA and obeys all the traffic rules. I stop at all the stop signs and red lights, and stops for all the pedestrians, even when they are jaywalking.

So, I'm back here at TWHL again. I've been working at a local college as an assistant at the music programme they have there. Now I'm working as a "central-antenna technician" at a local firm.
This means that for once I actually have some money to spend. I've bought a new hd-tv, 4gb more ram memory, a new 2tb harddrive, a new external soundcard so I can record my guitar at home, and a few games on steam. Life is good!

Once upon a time I had a friend. Not a girlfriend, just a chick who happened to be my friend. A good friend. A great friend. One day she decided to not be my friend anymore, and overnight reduced our contact to one or two emails every few months - always pretending everything was normal. After fruitlessly trying to maintain the original status I gave up and let it be the way she wanted - I started being a bad shitty friend and barely gave her any significant attention. Not sure when the second chapter to a game called "The Dream Machine" came out but I bought it today and enjoyed it. Sadly it's a bit short but I think the amount of work they put into the style of the game merits the small 4 pound price.

It's your typical point and click adventure game but falls into the down to earth category and later develops into fantasy. All I'll say is it's an imaginative story and I'm looking forward to the next part.
