I went to an airshow in Dublin today. It's late so I will put more up about it tomorrow but one of my girlfriend's friends was piloting this.

[Edit]
It was a fairly interesting day, although the traffic was a lot worse than we had anticipated, causing us to be late. We were within five hundred metres of the bus stop for about half an hour, but since we weren't at the stop we couldn't get off. Combined with the buses and trucks next to us on the road, we couldn't actually see any of the planes on the bus.
Other than that though, it was good. The majority of the planes didn't do anything other than just fly past, but there were a few different types.
Probably the one that I was most interested in seeing was the B-17 Flying Fortress, but there were also a few older small jet planes.
There were also a few airliners, including an A380, although since I have already flown on one of those I wasn't as excited to see it as I might have been.
Since I was on the bus I think I missed the C130, although it could sometimes be hard to tell which type of planes they were so I may have actually seen it.

The planes, combined with the fact that I managed to get a few rarely-seen-in-Ireland chocolate bars means that the day was quite good.

Hey guys. I don't usually peddle things on other sites, except the Core, but this NEEDS to happen.

Objectives:
I'm interested in a data acquisition API that can transmit over Bluetooth the sensor output of an android device. I'm writing the code in C++ since it's the only programming language I know so-and-so.

Any advice is thoroughly appreciated.

I recently built my first computer and decided to build a custom desk to go with it. I drew up some funky designs and brought it to life. It is 7'x7' and completely blocks a huge closet in my room. My bedroom door doesn't open all the way anymore. I got a new sound system for it, different than the one in these pictures, which shakes my floor. Let me know what you all think.

Hey, got asked to write a post for my ex-college's blog as a 'success story'. Please can I get some opinions? I'm worried it's too wanky.

Does anybody here know how to use AutoCad? I've been learning from online material and I think I'm getting the hang of it but there's one thing I still can't get right: scale.

I start up a new drawing, set UNITS to use Metres. Draw everything in Model space by the premise that "1" means 1 metre. All looks good and pretty until I move over to Paper space, where it looks TINY. If I set it to 1:1, it seems to take up the space on paper I'd expect it to take if I set it to 1:100 or something. It would seem that what I used as "1" wasn't interpreted as 1m but maybe 1mm or something. Hence the drawing needs to be set to a much larger scale to take up about the space I expected it to take relative to the printable page.

I've looked online but it doesn't seem to be clear ANYWHERE. I've asked people but haven't gotten a straight answer. Does anybody here know how to get it right?

I need to draw buildings, floor plans. This is one of the things I'm supposed to know if I intend to be an Architect :P

My son started his own blog.

After all, he is a first grader now. He can spell, he can type, and he has his own ideas.

You guys are gonna love this shit.

I donated $5 to the humble bundle to get some games, preferably Sims 3. To confirm my banking info, the ghost charge the amount on my account. Basically charging then cancelling. Today, they charged outright, which I didn't have $5 so I overdrawn and was charged $35 by my bank. Essentially I paid $40 for a $20 game. An EA game nonetheless.

I want to start a fire.

I wanna ask you, guys, to point me to some big salary, online job. Real big salary. And the job MUST be real, not just a spam/scam or anything like this fake shit. Anyway, I may sound silly, but I want to buy a Lamborghini Gallardo. $166000 at best, you know what I'm sayin' now... Gotta get the cash quickly. I just don't wanna buy it when I'm too old to drive it!!!

The crap I do when I'm not doing commissions.

Seriously, I should get these Comm's done... But I don't want too... They're all such Mary-Sue characters they make drawing them in shit styles not worth the money.

Anyway~!

What inspires you guys to continue to do something that you don't want to do?

Lets play a game.
Its called sentence; Here's how you play.
You form a sentence where each person adds a word to the previous persons sentence. So If i start with "The", the next person adds ONE WORD to the previous sentence. He/she would say "The Shotgun" and then someone else says "The Shotgun is"....
So you get the idea right?

I'll start.
