Just finished Duke Nukem Forever. I stopped with the playthrough videos because it was prolonging the experience and taking an age to render and upload the videos between each session.
If you want to watch playthroughs then there are hundreds of others online which are already played the whole way through.
Also FYI, the game gets progressively worse towards the end and I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Well, I made my first Gimp tutorial on my photo blog( yes I also have a photo blog, not just my other blog).
You know what's interesting? Reading a tutorial like this usually takes no more than 10 minutes(if you want to apply some knowledge learned). But the usual case is just a fugitive look at it of under 2 minutes, mainly looking at the pictures.
Making the tutorial took me about an hour or more.

[EDIT] I think I can edit the HTML to add some custom styles to it. Blogger is much more flexible than other blogging platforms. I want the text in bold to be more visible. Is the <style> tag used here? Hmm... better check w3 schools...

For the past few months i've been following a band called XAVIA , they've got this really cool but quirky style of like a mix of Pendulum and Muse, which makes for some pretty good tracks. Last week or so they got into a competition where pretty much the band with the most votes gets to play the main stage at a festival called the Wickerman , based around the pagan ritual. If everybody would be awesome enough to vote for these guys , then we'll be able to get them yet even more in the spotlight and get more people knowing about them.

You know what sucks about today's world? Everything revolves around money, EVERYTHING. It seems like all the rich people have lost the big picture and only think about themselves. Scratch that, it doesn't seem like that, thats how it is. We are paying actors billions of moneys to make us sit on our asses and rot. And paying our teachers $15.00 an hour to make sure we don't all turn out like shit. Now normally I wouldn't complain. But I saw something really cool I might have thought about getting in the near future when I get a job, when I saw the damn price tag on it, now yes, I realize this is a High-End object. But the price is ridiculous. I can't believe the stuff people charge for some things. I realize I'm only 15 and you all will just take a shit on my opinion, but you all have to realize its time someone made this bullshit end, I'm middle class, but were barely making it. No one cares for middle and lower class, only rich people matter anymore, and its bullshit. Flame me and whatever bullshit below in your comments. But I know I'm not the only one who isn't completely fucking stupid.

Caught a Level 80 ▀▓ ’M ▓░ today in Pokemon Blue. It has really high attack stats but the defense stat is horrifically pathetic. Seriously any Lvl 20 rattata with hyper fang can take it out in 1 hit. And I thought I could battle real people using these guys.
I tried to trade it to Gold and in the trade screen it appeared as a slowpoke. But when I tried to trade it said "you're friend's slowpoke is abnormal" and wont let me trade. So I went back in Blue and rammed a rare candy down the thing's throat, and it evolved into kangaskhan. Great an Lvl 81 kangaskhan with water gun and sky attack. Taught it Hyper beam with one of my 120 TM's to make it look better. Then I traded the 'kangaskhan' to gold. It worked.
SO THEN I went to try out my new Lvl 81 'khangaskhan' and fought a Lvl 30 wild pokemon. After beating it, my kangaskhan leveled up to 82! Then up to 83! Then 84! 85! 86! 87! 88! 89! 90! ...100! ...120! ...200! ...255! 14! 24! 34... And then Player shut off the gameboy.

New video card as of Friday, due to the last one sh*tting itself. Not sure what it is, I didn't buy it. Though I do recollect some things along the lines of AMD Radeon 6800, or something along those lines.
Whether or not that's considered good, first time I loaded up L4D, I was suprised at how smooth it was playing 'til I remembered that there was a new video card at all.
Oh yeah, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit works now too. Guess it just really was time to update.
