I basically load the front page and it's already logged in to a blank account you could say. Going to other pages "fixes" this and I'm required to log in as per usual.

some sort of SSX game
Am I the only here interested in this? :( I've been loving the SSX franchise up until Blur and On Tour (so 1, Tricky and 3) and the latest one looks like it's going to be something rather awesome.

I've been mucking around with the editor recently, quite fun for some reason. I'll probably look up more tutorials and hopefully make some structured map.

If you're talking to Satchmo, it's at that resolution because, well I'm pretty sure, Photobucket resized it due it being over 1mb or because of the resolution used.

Just used my Monday Night Combat gift pass and finished Resident Evil 3 PC (after digging it up from my box labeled '06). MNC is great but newcomers will get pissed at the Assassins especially if there are more than one (!@##$@%@!@!@@$#$%# :furious: ).

Resident Evil 3 was literally a blast and I've yet to find a legit version of Resident Evil 1 & 2 for PC. Ah well, I've got Resident Evil 4 to play now (despite it being one of the most shitastic console ports to date).

I got mine from watching the anime "Bleach" (detergent?) and more importantly the character Kurosaki Ichigo. But that was back in '05 and I don't watch anime anymore.

Off-topic but would there be any chance I get my name renamed to my name which is one of the most common names: Josh.

in DirectX 11 Post #280222
DirectX 11 should be better than DirectX 10 performance wise, although I can't really say much as I haven't seen how smoothly games have been said to run under DirectX 11 nor seen a comparison to DirectX 10; in other words a benchmark. Tesselation is one feature I am looking forward to seeing (after looking at the Unigine demo and DiRT 2) as it will bring a high level of detail to games should developers use it.

I'm with Striker on this one; concerning the GTX 4xx series. Despite nVidia having the GTX 4xx series which includes more features than the Ati counterparts (PhysX, CUDA, etc), I doubt a price tag $200-300 higher than the Ati 5xxx series is going to have the majority of consumers buying it, let alone want them to have
a jetplane
in their PC. Until nVidia drops the price on this, reduces the amount of heat it creates and somehow manages to reduce power consumption, Ati in my view is currently leading the market in terms of DirectX 11 GPU's; more affordable and more importantly doesn't run like a jet plane.

in Mirror's Edge won't start up anymore Post #279834
I have had Mirror's Edge installed on my W7 partition since last year and I was able to play it. Since around late February, it won't get to the main menu; it'll say "Mirror's Edge has stopped working". I've tried compatibility mode in Vista and XP (both which get past the logo, on to a blank screen, then gets to the error).
User posted image
Other attempts to fix this were:
  • Re-installing it countless times
  • Updating to the latest Ati drivers
  • Updating .Net Framework
  • Updating W7 itself
  • Updating DirectX
  • Removing saved game files
Weird thing was that I booted back to my XP partition, installed and it works perfectly fine. Although it works fine, I'd still like to get it up and running again on W7. Any ideas?

in Borderlands PC using 360 Interface Post #278948
Finally came to the conclusion that having the 360 hud for a PC game is as useful as trying to ride a bike with no wheels. Reverted back to keyboard and mouse for the sake of logic; PC games = mouse and keyboard. Just still wondering why I actually bothered to come up with that question. +1 useless thinking.

in Borderlands PC using 360 Interface Post #278942
I don't think you two understood what I put up. I'm currently playing Borderlands with the 360 controller, not asking how to use the controller for it (I use Xpadder for everything else). What I'm asking here, is for a way to have the interface the same as on the 360 so where you see "Press ENTER", it'll become "Press A". This feature is probably really unnecessary, but seeing as some game developers put that small feature into their 360 compatible games, I don't see why others don't.

in Borderlands PC using 360 Interface Post #278919
Basically... you all suck I'm playing Borderlands on the PC using the 360 controller. It works fine but the only thing I'd like to know is, is there anyway to have the 360 interface when you use the controller like in Mirror's Edge where ENTER becomes the button "A".

I can see the network, but when I try connecting to it, a few seconds later, the Application closes. I've tried using Windows one, but after the windows pops up saying its connecting, it just closes and heads back to the available network page.
