Hey this is becoming annoying and I don't ask for help unless I am sure I have tried everything...
Recently I decided to map again after a long break of like 4 weeks...So I compile my map after adding to it and I open CSS, open map etc...About 1/4 of loading and it closes with this error:

I have cornered the error...It only does this when I create server or do it manually in console. I just joined a server and it loaded fine...
Oh also it crashes with any map...
I've re-installed, I've verified, I've deleted files so that Steam makes new ones when I start it up again, I've sv_lanned 1, I've recompiled my maps with a refreshed SDK...Re-logged on Steam...
Anyone got an answer cause this is ridiculous...Oh I might as well mention this but earlier tonight while trying to fix it CSS crashed like normal and then when I went to Steam Games list all my games said preloaded and if I clicked them it said if I wanted to purchase them which gave me a right scare...Resetting fixed it...
I think the beta had something to do with it...Does IE have any connection to CSS? I had problems with that and had to re-install not too long ago (Like 6 weeks ago)

It is indeed in the GFC file...You'll need the explorer program to open it.

You need to extract the models folder from the GFCScape file into the DOD folder and you also need the materials folder in there as well.

"There is an entity called "player" in hammer. You place it into the map and you will notice that it has a default name of "player" . By parenting stuff to it you can get some weird shit going on. You can also crash your game a million times over if you mess up."

I didn't know you were not from the land of the English...Mine has crashed when I minimize ever since that darn update...I just open FF above Hammer and it's fine. Rarely minimizing doesn't crash it...
Don't blame me...Satchmo encouraged me saying it would cure my back pains.

Not all comics have to be funny. Why about 3 hours ago I remembered my comic which honestly sucked... So I imagined trying a new idea and I came up with a real drama that might actually be good...

Eh it happens...I've made maps with things happening but when I test it online sometimes they would not work...Weird but you always find a way around it.
Just listened to the song and I think the song in the trailer would be more fun...Has a nice beat to it.
Oh and my only concern with the mod is the rotating can get uber sensitive if you just want to straighten it up a bit. Keep it up.
Oh and again why is it you have 200 HP in the vid but not in the demo?
*Tried with Spirit 1.4 and it messed it up even more, still got the dll error so I deleted it, music still doesn't play, hazard map in place of Training...:/

Well I'm using Steam and I did not hear music and I had to delete that client.dll to play...Maybe the cause?
It was very fun, I couldn't figure out the 4th level mind...I'm sure if I wasn't in a rush I would have solved it...I too got those errors above but apart from that I liked it...I wish you had that music in the video playing as you think...It really adds atmosphere.

I don't think anyone needs to explain themselves...The way I see it is some people like consoles and some people don't...Get over it.
Since everyone has chucked in some garbage I might as well add to it:
Consoles are well...I used to love them...Thanks to them I became a gamer (All the way back to the SNES) and all I ever did was console this and console that...But the Godly PC came with its unlimited power to make games more fun with 'modifications'...
Now the only time I play console is when a friend comes round or if there's 8 of us and we want to have a laugh on Smash Bro etc...
PC's are excellent, one of the best inventions on the list but the consoles make gaming also differ...In the end any console is just a new PC with nice features...Some developers just choose to work on them because they know people like to play with their friends on a game that involves sitting in the same room...

Sounds easy to do, since this is for a comic you could decompile the map and edit it provided you say so in the credits and you don't distribute the vmf.
