Also if the Origin textured Brush is not tied to an entity (door_rot, func_train) then it will cause a compile error.

Here, try this.. it's using textlights.. might help you out a bit more to understand texlights, and the ZHLT's options.
Pretty much all you need is a liblist file, seeing you already have your models folder, sound folder.. etc

I always make the mini mod folder at the end. Just make your map.. then when it comes time make all the folders (the minimod) and try running it, if you get an error, like a missing ambient file, or model, then just go and copy them in until it works.. I find it alot easier. Yet it's the lazy way

Thats a good idea.. and how about you have stars beside your names showing rank. 1 star being a trainee, 5 stars being elite type a thing.
Did you double check to make sure the maps sky name is spelled correctly... I know, your probably thinking, wth!.. but it has happened to others where the map would just crash... so check the spelling if you have a sky in your map.. It's worth a check.
