Its a very usefull click-to-edit-desktop. In other words i use it as a interactive workspace. And i use the old classic theme because its more relaxing for the eyes and its way quiker after i shut down all the useless shit windows xp has built in.

Alright problem fixed, i set the fps 60, just as much as my keyframes, this means that the model was playing the animation in one second instead in one minute, so i set the fps to 1 so the model now completes the scanning sequence wihtin one minute.

I cant find any sources for hard-coding the sprites into a model.

On the other hand, i created a animation that makes you..... dizzy....yeah, thats the right word, its going so frickin fast that it makes me crazy.

Indeed 7th, But in the test trials when they approached the sound barrier the plane got uncontrolleble and drifted away to a side and down, they fixed it eventualy but the barrier always was a point at wich the plane started shaking, after that it flew like a dream.

Here are some of my favorite quotes from aces of o.a. WWII and WWI and VN.

Good flying never killed [an enemy] yet.

Up there the world is divided into bastards and suckers. Make your choice.

The first time I ever saw a jet, I shot it down.

-- General Chuck Yeager, USAF, describing his first confrontation with a Me262.

Willie, how long can you tread water?

-- Commander Randy 'Duke' Cunningham, USN, after his and Willie's F-4 took a missile hit over NVN and he dashed for the coast.

Go in close, and when you think you are too close, go in closer.
^
To true, as i myself have found out painfully when i lost my wingmate and i faced 3 zero's alone. Though i crippeled the fools and shot em down.

A fighter without a gun . . . is like an airplane without a wing.

I was a pilot flying an airplane and it just so happened that where I was flying made what I was doing spying.
-- Francis Gary Power, U-2 reconnaissance pilot held by the Soviets for spying, in an interview after he was returned to the US.

The Yo-Yo is very difficult to explain. It was first perfected by the well-known Chinese fighter pilot Yo-Yo Noritake. He also found it difficult to explain, being quite devoid of English.

If you're in a fair fight, you didn't plan it properly.
-- Nick Lappos, Chief R&D Pilot, Sikorsky Aircraft.

The British were sporting. They would accept a fight under almost all conditions.
-- Gunther Rall, Luftwaffe, 275 victories.

Every day kill just one, rather than today five, tomorrow ten . . . that is enough for you. Then your nerves are calm and you can sleep good, you have your drink in the evening and the next morning you are fit again.
-- Colonel Erich 'Bubi' Hartmann, Luftwaffe.

If I should come out of this war alive, I will have more luck than brains.
-- Captain Manfred Baron von Richtofen, in a letter to his mother upon being decorated with the Iron Cross.

All are real, not one of those are fake.

Yep, it colours the groups, then its easier for the skinner to recognize where what part belongs, but you can turn that off offcourse.

Here is another example of uvmapping

Feel the power of uvmapping(bows to lithunwrap)

wiht uvmapping you flatten your model by un-packing it as you would do wiht a cardboard box. then you save the model, i usualy save it is a ms3d file. If you do that he saves the coordinates of all the vertexes and faces on the 512x512 workspace. then you save it as a bmp texture and it will be applied to a material on milkshape.
Then you apply a material to the groups whom are uvmapped on the texture. and there you got your model ready for texturing.

in Weapon modelling and animation Post #99897
You certainly can use the animation of a default weapon. I assume you use milkshape, so search on there website for a tutorial on a smd export and compiling. It should help you on the road.

And for skinning, i think he already did that, otherwise he first would need to uvmap it.
