Just make your "flying object" out of brushes and tie the entire thing to a func_tracktrain and have it folow a path of path_tracks

@ Srry: nevermind, i found my version! Yay!

@ Pepper: Thats a shame... Well, i guess its default weapons from now on ( and i don't have a problem with the default low def weapon models at all).

@ all: I know we lack the most important task of team modding: communication and clarifying ourgoals. Also, we had a lot of HLHS members leave the team while other TWHL joined. This caused a major slowdown of the mod.
I will promise you, that once this mod is finished and released, we probably gonna start another singleplayer project, and this time do it the correct way!

Ain't that right, Hunter.

I can still do your characters, but thats all, im not doing any more coding request for HLHS.

If Peppers's custom weapons arnt close to completion, i say we ditch them.

As for my map, i hope i still have a backup copy somewhere on my backup discs somewhere.
In that case i might continue.

I don't see the point of that. My guess is that the entity has been removed from the FGD because the code for this entity has been removed by the CS creators.

Manual update goes fine. Its not a Steam related problem, the problem is in the PHP code or autoupdate script that handles the autoupdate.

What happened to Muzzleflash's? Its obviously down now, but why?
There's a problem with the autoupdate Steam function, which, for reasons unkown, goes wrong and causes the server to crash.

I just need to restart it manually, and then everything works fine. Its just that autoupdate thing thats not working properly.

Here's what you can do:

If it is available in TFC, you can use a monstermaker. It can spawn weapons, ammo, items, not only monsters.

So place one at the same location as a playerspawn, name the monstermaker "game_playerspawn", so that the monstermaker is triggered as soon as a player spawns/respawns. You can only provide one item per monstermaker, so you need to place more than one monstermaker to equip a player with the weapons you want.

You may need to set some flags, but i don't remember those atm.

You can't make brushes thinner than 1 unit, its been the rule since WorldCraft first came out. You said you did it in 3.4, but that is not possible so i believe you somehow THOUGHT you got a 0 unit thick brush. When you try to make a brush with a 0 unit thickness, Hammer will give you a message saying "This brush is empty".

So... 1 unit thick is the minimum.

Its just a mistery so noone really knows the real truth behind Kane. That why he's such a popular character in the C&C universe.

I think its plausible that Kane might be cloned, because, at the end of Tiberian Firestorm, in the final GDI mission, you can see Kane being held in somekind of stasis chamber. So, he may just be a clone.

When i startup Steam, and Steam detects no connection to the internet, Steam asks me to go into offline mode which works fine. This only works if you check the "save Steam information on this pc" box. Or something like that...

Maybe you're missing somekind of important dll library that vrad needs when its running, or maybe one or more dll's got borked and cause vrad to crash. Try reinstalling the C++ Runtime files, and see if that fixes it. You can get the package from the Microsoft site.

This sounds somewhat familiar to me. It happend in one of my maps where i ran only fast VIS. See what happends when you compile with normal or full VIS. Compiling the map with normal VIS did the trick.
