Thanks Daubster and andy gone! I think I figured how to scale models! In the .qc file there is somthing like this- $scale 1.0 Now all I want to know is about those stupid textures!!
You know you really don't know how to explain stuff! An origin brush is a brush textured with the origin texture and tied togther with a rotating solid entity! The origin brush is the place that the object will rotate around it so it doesn't have to in the center! The only entity that doesn't rotate but still needs an origin is func_train!
Damn it there is no save so I can't scale it through there!
When you use one of those fade textures,the one used to create volumatric lights,on additive/solid render mode the black doesn't show up in game but when I use the tnnl_map/+0lab1_cmpm2/+0lab1_cmpm3/lab1_cmpm5/lab1_cmpm6/lab1_cmpm7 the black parts doesn't disapear! How did they make them disapear with the fade textures????
And can you please answer my quastion about extructing bodies or monster_furniture and scaling models!!
Kinda usless for most of it's features have been done before or only for really lazy people. And the only use of the new buttons is to make people think it's cool! :
It's for the compo! And the model is not for a cemera sequence so don't think on how SlayerA did it for it was only an illusion that the models were scaled but I can't do this illustion for you need to see this model not only in a cemera sequance and another model will be near him with the actual size! :
But you wont sufficate! : And the other quastion is more importent! And I heard that there is a way to scale models just like sprites!(I don't care if it will be made out of a monster_generic or a cycler_sprite but such an effect will be nice)
Yes but how! I know how with a monster_generic but they can always get stuck in walls! And how can I view diffrent bodies in hammer! Well if I can't choose between models with monster_furniture then how can I extruct from a model that body? : (to create a model with that body only)

I constructed a bathtab and now I want to make it useable! Now my idea was to make the water rise and in the same speed a func_train will rise too! This train will be the end of a beam! Now my problem is that the train's speed is messured by units per second and the water with another way! If I'll make the water rise at the speed of 25 how many units will it pass per second? And I can't test it in my map for it takes like 2 hours just to compile it!
I talked about a mod idea! In the valve/models/player directory there is a halmet model I want to give him the grunts AI and weaponry when I'll make that mod and I'll wait till I'll know how to do it! :
That means you picked a regular animation and they can't be used as an idle one! There are special animations that can be idle! Which monster is doing the script? I could tell what animation is idle and which is not!
AVG free- search for it in the web for it can be downloaded at AVG's site! SE ad aware- I don't know from where I got it but it's a great one! Spybot-search and destroy- It's a freeware and I don't know from where I got it!
I think there is an example map in the vault on those things! I remember that I downloaded it for it created good lookin smoke and fire and I didn't know whats spirit and I got confused between it and the sprites!
That flag means that you can target the script more then once! Use scripted_sequance insted and in the 'idle animation' value write the name of an idle animation!(They mostly have a idle/loop/wait in there names)
You dare to say that SlayerA is wrong! He is never wrong about mapping!
Just kidding!! He is just a great mapper that always come with great solotions to problems and original ways to do stuff and his solotions always worked and helped me!
