Xen seemed like an after-thought to me... Not nearly as well made as the rest of the game..

I think Unforeseen Consequences was my favourite. The first time you play, it is nothing short of disturbing to walk through the remains of what was, only minutes previously, a bright, active lab complex. Seeing the dead scientists in the elevator, or the barney get cut in half by the laser.. Fantastic stuff.

Daubster was responsible for Chapter 4, and did some great work, unlike Saco. (that's why you were kicked off)

Unbreakable was in charge of chapter 2, and fucked off.

there is a map on the server that hasnt been wadincluded, and when it tries to download off steam, you get kicked out for failing to have the .wad.. i cant remember which .wad it is, but that is unnaceptable.

Well, this mod is turning out to be much more cinematic that i originally planned..
It's also branching miles away from Rimrook's Gyradell idea, but hey.. I just really love the look of abandoned places...

Yeah, so it turns out that the thing the grunts have sacrificed their careers over is a crystal which harnasses so much energy, that anything non-organic which comes in contact with it, instantly decays, and organic matter begins grows within seconds..
Anyways, one of the Sigma science teams who were researching it, introduced a chemical to it which caused its effects to be much more wide-spread, so it no longer needs to touch something to decay it.

? Did your compile finish much faster than usual?

yeah, i always do mine on paper first..

Make sure you always have a height factor too.. Deathmatch sucks when it's all on one level.

Play a deathmatch game like Turok for the N64 or Goldeneye and get some layout tips..

Make sure there's always more than one way to get to a major part of a map...

erm..

Make sure there's always at least 2 wide-open areas for combat...

traps are fun too..
