The backsides of BOTH the doors are fine (handles on the inside)...and the left one is fine, as seen in the picture....but i cant get this right one to turn around...its the only one thats messed up >.<..ive been fooling around with it for a while..and i cant get it
k, i have a fairly large area that will have the same style of flooring...and..well...when i put one of the normal floor textures...it just looks stupid...is there anything i can do maybe to make it look a bit better?
i will try this and report back! btw...does this work for both directions? cause i ALMOST had it for one direction..but then the other way went beserke
k...so i was following the sliding door tutorial..and i did that easilyyyy lol..go figure...now im trying the door thing...but i dont quite understand the tutorial...if anyone knows a different one i can see? or wants to be really really nice and explain it lol...id be veryy greatful!
LOL...k wow, i use Batch Compiler to make the bsp, and Hammer to make the map, and after editing i would go File > Save...and it only saved the rmf or w/e its called and not the .map file that batch compiler uses...so i was confuesed as to why everything seemd the same, now i no why! lol k you can call me an idiot now!
k, you could call me an idiot for this if you want, but i no info_player_start or w/e is the spawn point for CT, and people say the spawn point for t is info_player_deathmatch, but when i create a game and try to join t it says its full, im not sure if its a serverside problem (like limit teams and other commands) or if its something im doing wrong making hte entity...
when you make a map, you use textures, their in a WAD file. If i use texture from say "blahblah.wad", how can i distribute the map WITHOUT having to distribute the WAD file also? Is it even possible?
damn, i found it in the intermediate turorials..sorry about this...anyway, one more question, when i compile my map, the decals disapear, why? maybe ill find out why when i finish reading this tutorial, but can someone tell me if i dont?
Hi, im sort of new to this mapping stuff, and i have a decal that says "Haxor" and i want to place it somewhere, and when i do its backwards, i was just wondering how i could flip it around. i searched the forums and the only thing i found was how to flip a texture, but i cant figure out how to do it with decals
