OK, it was about a military mental hospital, in which deserters etc were kept to ascertain whether they were actually mad or pretending to be to get discharged. then a new doctor turns up and allows them to sort of take over the asylum. It turns out toward the end that he is not the doctor that was supposed to come and is in fact a patient who was a renowned killer in the field attempting to redeem himself through doing somethig good. He saves this one guy who is an astronaut afraid that he will die in space (a common theme if you remeber from William Peter Blattys the exorcist ("You'll die up there.")) from a wierd ass group of bikers, by first humiliating himself by getting pissed on, but then as they are about to kill the other guy he kicks their asses severely but dies in doing so.
no, its only around the age of 8 that you can be truly differentiate right and wrong, before that you simple dont do things because you are PUNISHED, you simply have no concept of morals etc around this age.

Your correct that watching violence doesnt make children crazy. However, when a kid (8 or under) sees someone kicking the crap out of people and IS NOT PUNISHED or worse still if they seen to be REWARDED, they will copy that persons behaviour in real life.
This is where the LEARNING comes in.
If the parent approves (laughs or cheers on etc) or ignores the kid running around the place karate kicking everything in site or pretending to shoot things, then they will see this new behaviour as acceptable, even as something positive. However, if they get shouted at or hit for kicking over things, then they will see it as bad behaviour and stop doing it (unless for attention seeking but that doesnt come into this).
In real life a kid can see the consequences of actions, for example if he sees someone gunned down in the street, he will see all the screaming, crying and the guy (hopefully) being arrested for it. You rarely see consequences like these in TV/video games, therefore it is the parental responsibility to fill in the gaps here, and reprimand the kid if he reenacts. In many cases where the kid gets out of hand, they parent has simply failed to do this.
And yes! I blame steam for violence in children.

You can't physically 'switch' through different cameras in the same screen in halflife, you can only have different cameras cycle after time delays. Unless you want to use buttons to select which cam, but I tried it and its messy. Try having several different 'screens' in the same area. But switching through, nope.
Its a programming language (the one Half Life was written in if I'm not mistaken). There are plenty of PC magazines that give away full versions of C++ Development Software, and sites like planetsourcecode etc. I personally couldnt do C if my life depended on it, mind.

It is true that i have a pc most sucky, but steam is a very aggressive little program. WON never bothered me, steam hates me. I object to being FORCED into steam and i object steam pulling and hauling at MY half life (i paid for it).

In addition to generally messing up online play for me and shifting my hl files, I did some research and found that steam is to blame for other things too.

Possible reasons for grammatical errors in TWHL forum posts.
1) Poor education (common in improverished third world countries such as Sweden ).

Do you mean moving the rocket (look up the elavator tutorial for func_train) or the flame effects for the booster (in which case your talking sprites). Try and be more specific

Since I had to reinstall HL and such from the disk, after Steam had worked its magic on my puter (grrrrr), I had to run the HL1.1.1 again...BUT ITS CORRUPTED (since this was the last prog I ran before my hard disk cable came out that might have something to do with it)
I think I have backed up on disk....if not, I'm not f**king dloading it again.

I havent seen such a nasty little program since IE4.0 came along. Just try and uninstall THAT from win 95!!! A sledgehammer couldnt do more damage!

That should be fine enough then. Is he scripted or anything in your map? Check his properties if its not an architecture problem.
I don't know if this'll help, but when I get errors dont seem to be there I just copy and paste my entire map in to a new one. It sometimes works!
Post the map in problems and I'll maybe have a look-see tonight when I get home.

1) It doesnt work for me.
