A funny way in HL2 to die (which i did) is when your in ravenholm, under one of the rotating blade traps luring zombies and headcrabs in. And once they're all dead, forgetting about the blade and standing up...

Nope, how do I detect the r_speeds and what is a good level to be at?type into the console 'r_speeds 1' you'll get some readings in the top left corner telling you various things (Framerates, for example) i reccommend you check the r_speeds tutorial to find out more.
A good level is round about 800...Methinks

its probably doing that because there is to many entity's to render, i had this problem with fencing in large areas.
