I have got one (in a later version of that map when i noticed there was no filter with the name given in the prefab) but they still don't work there is just no electric bolts comeing from them now. They seem to move up sligtly as well just befor they die but i set all the direction things on all the parts to 0 degrees so they should move from left to right??

RotatorSplint good idea but. Of the 10 wagons there are 5 diffrent sizes.
Makeing 5 diffrent routes would make some paths shorter than others and it would all get out of sync.
38_98: not sure what you mean.If you mean cutting the large 1000 unit long flat cars up i`m not sure how that would work as they would bend half way along.

Can`t make it much bigger. Ive already pushed two of the areas over 4000 units across.
A short frieght train running on a loop around a map (more than one area).

How can i make long trains (500-1000 units) work on corner propley?
I set the distance between wheels to the right distance but it only works on rotation.
The center of the origin is still eactly on the path instead of hanging over the inside of a corner. Is there any way to fix this?

How big is that part of the map?

You can`t make a no texture map. You can`t create an oject with no texture. And even if u could when you tried to play the map the game would crash cause it doesn`t know what to show on screen.

Hammer beta seems not to show lots of things.
my dead barney won`t show up but will in game.
Shot gun ammo won`t show up either.

It might be doing something dumb like looking for them here
D:/LAN-HL/svencoop/D:/LAN-HL/svencoop/sprites/Slight1.spr

u should not have "D:/LAN-HL/svencoop" there. use "sprites/Slight1.spr
Also doing it that way won`t break the map if you move the game to say the C drive.

and mine never seem to use the CENTER of the origen brush :(
more like 1-6 units up or down...
The problem here is one i never had with my own maps But nearly ALWAYS get it on one or 2 of the HL maps.
I don`t think it is the origen since the hl maps should have one. But then looking at the number of unaligned textures it wouldn`t surprise me if they didn`t make the effort of adding one.

lol. my seach for .rmf came up with 84 files. Quite a few maps i thought i had lost.
this also contains a the train for the multi player map with a train.

I have NO idea who made this or where i got it from.

the 2 trains u get 2 drive
subway train- (well i had already made my own by then)
tank
apc
4 by 4 car
millertry truck- (It wasn`t complete and the front was wrong so i fixed it)
and something else.

mayby name your box the same thing as the shot gun modle and put it in the right folder. It will overide whats in gfc or pak files.

it was done in HL but i can`t think of a time it happend in HL2.
THis is how i would do it.have a multi maneger target the script to make the zombie hit it. Count how long it takes from the start of the animation to the zombies claws hitting it. Give the boards a name.
Now tell the multi maneger to target the boards with a delay of the time you counted.

the half life 1 hammer does not show brushes transparent. Compile your map and view it from half life/TFC/DM/CS ect

if that doesn`t work you could decompile the bsp`s of the maps you have on this site. Not perfect however and creates errors that you will need to fix.

what happend to getting the other marine to get the medic?
while ryan gurds the captain? Saves risking 1 leaveing the captain with a low rank marine or hurting him more by dragging hime over the uneven ground.
but since i have to choose out of whats there...

OFF TOPIC:
well the Gman re-armed it to save the world. black mesa had become a breeding place for many aliens. He hoped that by destroying it the aliens would not be able to destroy the world.
I don`t think he knew at that time the combine would come and invade takeing many aliens with them. (eg head crabs). And when that did happen he droped freemen in it to put an end to the combine rule
btw "times freemen saved people" was meant to be "times Gman saved people"

in OP4 he opens a door for you just befor you get killed by some toxin (look in window)
If he had not put G.freemen in C17 so he found his way to his old friends the combine would not have been deafeated.
if he had not picked you off the top of the citeldel you would be dead after the teleporter was destroyed.
EDIT: it was the goverment who ordered that black mesa be wiped from the map and no one escape. what would the goverment do if news that black mesa existed and some scientists there had open a way for aliens that wished to destroy earth to come here?
the assins are also the goverments doing when the millertrys cover up failed badly. (must be. both use some of the same weapons)

me thinks someone told him to use an old version of hammer to map for HL2.
on steam. go to "tools" and install SDK tools.
run hammer from that.
