even if there were only a choice between say christianity and atheism then, i would still be atheist it's in my nature (like everyone has there own) to believe i am the 'god' of my life, i do not pray to someone/thing else to watch me or guide me - it's utter bullshit.
what you just wrote however is your own beleive and people some obviously won't agree - it's human nature, completely unavoidable. Anyway, i am aethiest (iv'e had this discussion before!) and find it incredibly hard to believe in a god or to change the way i live or think for a religion. I live in Australia, which itself is becoming more and more religiously divided.

what was the big deal with Halo anyway, it was just a bunch of vehicles in a bunch of generic looking maps. Though the second one was a big improvement.
find the brushes near where the CONTENTS_SOLIDS warnings are telling you in the brackets above the warning, and just rework those brushes. you may have to delete those ones and start again. they may just have a wrong shape or have been stretched incorrectly. i got the same thing before

as soon as i finished hl - a few years after its released i saw hammer advertised on the box (such a handy place to put it) and from then on mapping was a hobby.
glad thats sorted out...
got it all back now, but i dont wanna make a comic for a while - ive suddenly had inspiration to get me back into mapping! ill start a new thread once ive made my next comic (could be a while)

might be a problem with the games old registry files. you could try uninstalling it, removing all hl registry files (this is deadly if you delete the wrong files but) and running a defrag before reinstalling it. I'd look for some guides on the net for the registry part. i had a similiar problem were hl would not do transparent textures or animations right. but it could be too much hassle if you run it through steam, just uninstall it and defrag before you put it back on for safety.

ragdolls from newly killed npc will act differently to the prop ragdolls you make in hammer. The ex-npc ones dont collide with rotating objects or certain brush entities - its just the way valve made it! parent an invisible physbox to the door?
bad news my second drive (with all the GTM data and steam) has decided to go skitz and apparently wipe itself! Im having it looked at to get the data recovered but it'll take time - so no more comics for a whilec
