in VIDEO: Police Defend Shooting 92-Yr Old Post #203919
ah, Jahzel is back stiring up controversy, TWHL is normal again. :)

as for this,
You notice how she opened fire first and hit a few officers?
Well, if she opened fire first then it was a justified kill.
The way I saw it was they opened fire at someone they didn't see who was shooting at them.
The woman was selling drugs, the cops went in. She thought she was being robbed and in the dark, opened fire on the officers. Three officers were hit before the woman was shot and killed.

Age is no factor. She was a criminal, who shot three officers of the law. Does the fact that she had a fucking GUN handy and was ready to spring into action in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT not concern anyone?
The cops had EVERY RIGHT to shoot. They had no idea who was on the other side of that door. For all they knew it COULD have been a dangerous serial killer
is there nobody left in the world to see the logic in this!

I was in the ODS allience which suffered a massive attack from some weird allience called "The goons" or something
ya, ICP started some shit and a world war broke out. We goons were in a Mutual defense pact and had to defend ICP's victims, and by attacking back ODS was obliged to attack us.

Goon rules
some weird allience called "The goons" or somethin
how long have you been on the interwebs? 5 seconds? you dope, the goons are the 80,000+ forum members of SomethingAweful.com . they are famous for their invasion of games on comradery

you need to enable the console for that method by either enableing console under advanced keyboard options for Steam Half-life or first creating a shortcut to the HL launcher, and adding -console in the path in its properties

sorry got something stuck.

BTjunkie was found in a study (slashdot linked it a while back) to be the largest torrant site, and the same survey bitcomet had the most useable features.

Nope Rimrook, the awards are THE 15th. any mod submited before then is considered for this year.

although If you want media exposure it might be hard to arange by next week ;) but not an impossible feat.

the only requirements for ModDb is that you have a informational site up, which is pretty easy since you already have some webspace with m0p. and you can always bug ZL for a quick template to drop images into.

awe... your going to wait for the demo to come out?

thats to bad. The yearly awards are coming up for mods in production and finished mods.

demo's aren't needed.

And I could have gotten you a Mod-Hq interview/feautre/something and probably a guest spot on esports-tv gamers united show

I liked the ending.

and he's technically not dead. you don't die of having 1hp in HL2.

but is it really over?

oh sure... i'll submit this next year, i'll pass.
alot of the awards are for unfinished mods.

eg. Black Mesa Source won for HL2 last year and its unrelesed.

im just saying, Moddb is looking for videos and stuff of upcomming mods to show. this is something cool enough that alot of the people there would love it.

And may I inquire rimrook, what the entity setup for the rotating things are? just func_rotatings that can be toggled on and off?

Make a Moddb profile quick, this will win something huge at the moddb yearly awards next week. and you already have a video to advertise too.

Im serious, it has a huge chance of winning best HL1 mod, if not most creative.

the only thing I have to say bad about the trailer (besides that it burns my eyes with its sexyness), is that the rotating blocks need texutres

well, the server that my friend hosted wasn't very stable.

but the map is quite fun. a bit open and AWP camping prone at alot of parts, and the glass over the CT spawn is bullet proof. but other then that it plays really well.

good performance numbers too.

they are all good quality

but something i've learned from Hostage Situation and Reissues mapping, among other projects, is that visuals are nothing. its nice to have a good looking map, but without a fun gameplay element its worth nothing.

focus on gameplay, because your screens already are beyond adequate visual wise.
I like the 5th pic...nice vertex manip on the rocks, and the blue lighting fits the area well.
its my favorite of them

keep it up urb, and I was being serious earlier
