friend is indeed freund in german. Not sure what todesangst in itself means but angst indeed means fear.

'todesangst' translates to 'fear of death'

However 'Fear of death' translates to 'Furcht vor Tod'

Glad you like the .zip idea but I also like the idea of hiding the code in maps, perhaps the end credits, you have to kill 100 enemies that respawn constantly in a black box...Worth a try, Devil May Cry 3 had it.

nope, lets just say that if you watch it through you get the code, but I can't think of many reasons why you wouldn't want to see all my nice scripting and camera work.

and I have some bits of concept art and some stuff. Are you going to include the RMF's in the wad, so people can see how we did some of the stuff?

Whot? Ghehe...

Garg, bad idea, there will be enough people whom dont know what to do with it, it will only add up extra space for the poor modem users.
Posted 19 years ago2005-11-30 12:32:52 UTC Post #149886
Offer it seperately, then.

Agreed, though you require some extra webspace for that.

For those wondering, found some inspiration today to continue on the m-14, started the sight. Pretty dang difficult to get right.
Posted 19 years ago2005-11-30 14:25:56 UTC Post #149919
good luck pepper.

an important issue was rased too.

Webspace.

On my HDD, probably with a few deletable files, Hostage situation is 57.3mb! also, once everone's maps have been added with an average of about 1.5mb we're gonna have a BIG mod directory. i'll do some file clearing, get rid of what isn't neccisary but we're really gonna have to find a host.

Edit

Hmm, what are P0, P1, P2 & P3 files?

Edit edit

Reduced to 49.8mb

no, IRC has its time constraints. and this is a public record, and open to all to post their opinions in.

Pepper, Mini-14 looks awsome  . although you didn't have to put that much work the sights like that, but thanks for the effort!

Thanks, your giving me way to much credit, it isnt good enough for me yet. And i know a dozen people that can model much better then me.

Question:

Would a scope be required? And would something like this will do as a skin?

you can't have your part done in 2 weeks?

if you want me to, you can send me the RMF's for the weekend. I can get some of the stuff done quickly. I need a few days mapping other then my map.
Posted 19 years ago2005-12-03 08:26:34 UTC Post #150260
coldfeet too? goddamnit. I'm already having to finish Saco's cos he's got exams and is losing his internet...

But coldfeet, come on. 2+weeks! it may not be polished and properly tesed, but you could easily come up with 2 maps in that time.
Remember how excited you were when you first joined the mod team? use that as motivation!

Also, on a side note - anybody that doesnt finish on time and doesn't have a valid excuse will be towel-whipped repeatedly by a hot and sweaty Habboi.

Hey I never agreed to whipping...I mostly bite :quizzical:
If I mapped for HL1 then sure i'd finish a map in 2 weeks...Give it to Garg and he'll use the old magic to spruce it up...

well, I have one more room to finish up. its the one room that im having problems with, my equivilent of hunters crappy room. I can't really get it right, even though its small.

But I have an Idea.

Then its to the Credits Map, which will be sweet

I'm already having to finish Saco's
I think,I can finish it in 2 weeks. But my chapter is not so big at all.So I think a perfect 1 map would do it.Like I told you before...Anyway the important part of the chapter is that the barney takes scientists and goes (except the slick/scientist one.)The slick one shows you the lab..and well wasnt that the point of the chapter?scientist takes you to lab :
You better finish Coldfeet's :o

Im having trouble with this stupid camera sequence. I want it so that it moves right through Freeman's keyhole of his appartment/hotel room. Can't quite get it the way i want it to. :/

lol, my map is comming good. just have to finish up the room and split it into two maps, now that I realize im breaking quite a few HL limits with the one I have now.

Nope, becuase i want YOU to see how short the quote tags are. Just a bracket and a Q, nothing more. Writing [ quote ] and [ / quote ] take so much more time... I allready said this before. Oh well.
Posted 19 years ago2005-12-06 18:05:53 UTC Post #150731
Ah, I see. Well, perhaps I'll give the option of a few different sorts of markup code in TWHL3.

What is so intruinging about it? I want it to be perfect.

Did you see the bf2 credits? At a certain point you see a lad holding a m249 saw in his hands, probably one of the modelers, im so jealous at those people that they can afford to have a real or a model version of the weapon. You can perfectionize it to the extreme's.
