Thats right. I got a public 8 player HLDM Server. What? Don't believe me? There:

When im not around, or not using the computer, the server is used as a public TWHL Server. Sometime i might playtest maps with friends and so it will not be availble to the public. Most likely there will be a server password. :)

Also, if you want to playtest a map of yours, PM me, and ill put your map online. :)

Nice. If it has "TWHL" in the title, I reckon this thread deserves a sticky-ing, but I'm not sure which forum it belongs in. It's an HL thing, but it should probably be in the Site forum...

Why does the server crash every once in a while btw?

So far I only saw ZL, MuzzleFlash (duh!), Ansith and Kasperg

Im quite pleased with, yes. :)

The only runs custom maps from TWHL users, so if you connect to the server while a custom map is running, you either let the server download the map for you, or you can download the map from this site. Just search for the map. Second option is faster. :)

I'd like to see one of my custom maps in the hldm server, the problem is I wouldnt know which one to choose. Any ideas? We could even try some of my teamplay maps (seth, sacrifice, matrix, ritual) and see if they are actually fun for a change...
Suggestions anyone?

I came to a conclosion, I can't play DM. Each time I lag I find myself dead! Only muzzle don't kill lagging/talking people. :tired: Don't take me wrong, thats not the only reason I die all the time, I'm not such a good player too, but under these conditions I can't improve. :cry:

Sweet muzzy. If you can keep this server up as regularly as often, you can host the HL1 mods and I can get my server up to host just HL2 mods.

@Atom: maybe I'll have some old stuff in playable state, probably not. But you could put L00T DM on it... I can fix up the GMG model a bit so you'd actually be firing with it... ;)

Could you remove rpg_arena?

It's an instant lag fest, and there isnt a single complicated thing in the map. I'ts unplayeble.
