IIS is messy,, never tried Apache though
But I just hate PHP (makes good pages, but it is so hard to code)
ASP is a lot easier, I think that's why people choose it

PHP is confusing and, well, it doesn't make scence for a dude who just know HTML and Java script..
ASP does, (at least, that's what I think)
For example, the code that mep gave me, I would never guess that that code redirected me to a web page!
But, response.redirect is obvious..

So, I still say, ASP! :)

I managed to make a door, breach able!
Just make a func_door_rotating, make speed 180, and make collision damage 100.
I also connected the "on open" output to a sound (an explosion sound that wasn't used in HL2, it sounds like a C2, I think..)
You could also lockpick it if you made some trigger wich decresed the speed and damage,, some how..
I'll show of the map when the door stops exploding to the wrong way.. :P

Ok! Great job Daubster! :)
And,, I finaly managed to make the breach thingy..
Only one problem, you can't lockpick, only blow it up,, ^^

But, I think I have a sulotion to this..
Make a door, and make 2 buttons, one at the look, and one where they place the charge..
And, using sprites, we can navigate the player to do what he wants!
One sprite could, for example, be a picture of a key, or a lock, the other sprite could be a picture of a breach charge.
These sprites could be placed infront of the buttons, and set them up to only show up when you are 3 meters away from the door..

I have no idea how to make sprites though, but I think that is materials too!

We almost posted in the same time so I didn't notice your post..

In other news..
I've put in a very simple startup movie for the mod..
What appers on the movie is Daubsters SWAT echo 12 logo..
I'll add some music in the bakground too (yes, copyrigted, I'll make the music my self.. :P )

Our voice actor Hollywood have also made a sound for the mod.. Wich says "hostile in sight"
He is really good using his sound editor..

An other little thingy.
Slasher showed me his version of the breach function, amazing, really.
He used some hing and physbox thingy..
So the door acts physical, for example, after breaching it, it moves free in the air, but it is still stuck im the door opening.
I would never figgure out.

I was thinking about mixing the two, slasher's door does not have a satcher activator, but it do have a lockpick, and, it flies up during explosions..
We could mix the two together (using the sprite idea I posted before, you know, 2 buttons 2 sprites for both lockpick and breaching..)
I think that would be good, but I don't know what you guys think, but I like. ;)

I just wonder, how do you do it?
Do you first, make a world model, and then, you copy that model and make a first person model of it? :S

Nop, i start out modeling using the reference pictures for the sizes, i geus it comes with experience. I also see the errors if i make them, thats why i do not have much of them, since you can avoid them.

Well, im glad you like it, if the polycount aint to high then il add some details.

lol,,
Well, anyways, I've fixed some things with the HUD menu,
It now says MP5 and P90, the P90 has a 50 clip magazine and the MP5 got a 30 clip magazine..
I also increased the MP5 damage, and the P90 is better than the MP5 cuz it has a bigger mag and damage a little bit more..
The pistole damage 1 more point than the MP5, but, the clip is small and it is semi automatic.

PROBLEM OCCOURED.
I've never tried to change the in menu title before..
So I tried to change Half-life 2 to S.W.A.T. Echo 12, but now the whole title is gone! O.o

Dunno, try leaving out the dots in S.W.A.T (make it SWAT)

Madcow, should I try adding a lockpick to my door ? I think I know how, with triggers.

Same priciple as shooting the door open, you can only do it with a shotgun

Acurly, when I tried your map, you couldn't blow it open with a shotgun.. :S
Lock pick eh? That sounds imposseble,, if you manage to do one of those, then,, I dunno but I guess I'll say OMFG!
I think it is not posseble without some kind of a coding scene.

Remove the dots eh? I don't remember what file it was, but I'll try edit every where I find S.W.A.T. Eco 12 written, exept over at the 3:rd party games thingy, that works. :)

Oh, and I wondered, wich guns where we supposed to have?
Was it the five seven and the glock 20?
Or was it the soccom and (?) :S
And should we replace the SPASS 12 with a benelli M3?

Really ? You can't shoot it open ?

Did you shoot at where the handle would be ?

I always shot it with right click, so it shoots two shells at a time. Try that.

No, not lights, the word "light" isn't that dynamic enaugh, it doesn't explanes that is it pulsing.
