Hey, I get this error while compiling:

BSCMAKE: error BK1506 : cannot open file '.debugcmdlib.sbr': No such file or directory

It can't find that file or something.. >_<

yes. It sure does. Do you have that file? Maybe the path to it is incorrect.

I mean, this is not just me,, every one I know (that have tested compiling) gets this error..

Something is really wrong with this source code..

The name of the mod, echo 12 doesn really make sence, since the names are defined:

alpha
bravo
charlie
delta
echo
foxtrot
gulf
hotel
india
juliet
kilo
lima
mike
november ..
etc.

so echo 12 doesnt make sence.

Maby- S.W.A.T : unit echo.

This way you could create serval chapters of different units. Just tossing in a idea.

EDIT:

Update, inserted half of the magazine and worked on the sight holder and magazine slider.

Personally, I like the name Echo 12, but I also think the whole chapter's with different unit names idea would be awesome :

This is one of the few misses in HL2,, they did not even have a light swich texture! :o
Well,, we have, :)

I don't know about every chapter = new group..
I figgured that it would be easier to have every new mission as a new chapter (every mission will minimum contain 2 maps anyway, maby even 3, it is brief, mission and de-brief.)
And then, we would be able to remove the ingame SAVE function (wich can be done easy)
So you would have to play the whole mission (you can't save in realety, eh?) You know it locks up a new chapter every time you manage to play through one.

Echo 12 is like,, Rainbow Six or,, well, whatever,, you get the point,, ;)
I think we should stick to it, but if we do not agree, we could have a vote or something, I don't know. :)

I give you a chance of one percent of finding a decent animator. There very very rare. you can pick up coders anywhere you like, animators dont.

Yea.. And coding is FAR easyer to do, coz there are SO much coding sites with tons of tuts... You can use em easily... :
Madcow: I like the no save idea.. Makes the missions harder and more interesting.. :)
Btw I'd like to start creating banners for the website.. So do we keep the swat echo 12 name?

Hey, Madcow. About the door breach explosives, why do you say we have to use model doors ? I'm sure you could use hinge-doors somehow. (I've been experimenting in hammer)

So far I've made a hinge-door which can open with 'use' or get blow open with an explosion. Now I'm trying to make it possible to shoot it open with a shotgun, if you shoot the handle.

Yeah well, a swat team would try to lock pick the door or breach it with a breach-iron. They wouldnt shoot at the door, because the bullets could richochet and kill them.

Well, they do not use normal shots, and they use some kind of a breach shotgun.
Weird thing, powerful stuff, ;)

I've now posted at Vlatitude (after 20 mins of looking for clatitude at google,, ^^ ;) )

Intresting,, breaching a brush based door.
Maby you could do a sequence some how..
If you press "use key" on the door, there will pop up a breach charge.
and after about 5 seconds, the charge blows upp the door!
How would that be? (no funneh remote though... :( )
(this tecunique could be used in the demo map (the first map in the game, I'm just waitong for my friend to scan it, ;) )

a iron they use to breach a door, in the medievals they used it to breach castels, except that this is a small 2 man version, dont know the exact name.

Madcow, you must realize thats the bottom of the weapon (P90 Pics up top) the top of the weapon will be added making the but thicker, looking less long. ;)

Well here are my first concepts for this mod... (b&w will make in color , if needed)
They were like 2500x3500 when scanned, so I resized em to a nice 1024x768.. Still - this is big, so don't be surprised if they'll load for a long time.
