Should be a new map, otherwise you'd have an unfair advantage over the other entries because you would have more time to complete it. We can't really stop you from doing it anyway but please be fair to everyone else smile - :)

More progress, more setbacks. I'm not sure how I'm going to detail this since every new room results in AllocBloc: Full and further reductions in brushwork & texture detail to get it running.

Dude, that office is friggin dope and i'm digging the under pass!

Checks it out.

Edit:

1. Maybe add a column on the corner office window. Seems structurally unsound in a low budget warehouse/ office. They wouldn't spend the money on extra steel to reinforce the opening. Hmm...

2. Although the brick texture is nice, it seems too heavy for all the openings. Seems like the bricks would fall. Maybe try making it appear tilt wall construction on bottom two levels and all clad in like cheap old rock wall cladding like they use on old office buildings. You could even also make it appear to have pealed/ crumbled off in places revealing the old concrete underneath and play with color combinations of the cladding.

I know this doesn't help solve your problem. But if you focus on stuff like this instead of more intricacy it might make you satisfied with this entry.

3. This might save you some clip nodes. Use masked textures for your handrails, but to make it look nice make it two seprate func_illusionary's but up to each other to reveal the texture directly on either side.

Compilation achieved! Getting there big grin - :biggrin:

One or two small graphical and clipping quirks here and there to sort out (later). Otherwise, onto making some details! (And figuring out how to connect those pipes to that doorway...) I'll prepare a screenshot soon. -ish.

I hope you will use a lot of clipbrushes Archie or you will have a lot of movement problems there for skilled players.
LJ,Bunnyhop and so on. Otherwise it looks really great smile - :)

I planed some gameplay testings this weekend, so if anyone want to join the test, just pm me and you are invited + get the mapdownload in time.

Archie´s Map is amaizing and he is now able to do even more, sometimes are second person watching over some work, can really help finding problems/mistakes that you may forgot about because they are just small.

I don´t see it as a challange, I´m happy if we can create a good mappack as community smile - :)
