5 minutes. I found a bug, in room,, 3 I think? When you jump around on letters. I fell once (matter of fact I fell many times) and then I landed on a non-stright-face (I've forgotten the english word, but, you know what I mean. Non straight as in surf map tracks) and therefore I survived the fall and got directly into room 4. However, you've blocked the enterense with something inviseble right?
I like, but shame it was a bit short. 3.5, in this case, 4

That's quite smart. New mappers with new maps could allow uploads so that better mappers could show them how to do stuff and how to improve stuff. w00t
Cons:Like Xysos said some plain buildings Halls are too long The sewers should have multiple exits/entrances Overall A nice map 4 out of 5 StArS NICE WORK

Ill comment, but wont rate since I have a bias because Exos is my brother.
Pros: The effect of storm clouds in the air is really cool. The heavy rain is also very cool along with the soundscapes. The puddles look cool, but some look a bit blocky. Its a pretty good representation of an accurate looking city. Very good use of 3D skybox Good lighting. Cons: Some plain buildings Open space in the roads, and in the T spawn halls. Halls were too open and plain (and too long)
Other thoughts: The FPS is pretty good considering you used multiple func_prec... brushes, and have wide open spaces. It has a cool theme, and has some cool encounter points. All in all its a good map XD

All the good remarks, I thought this was going to rock.. but I was wrong.
I didn't really looked all that nice, I understand it's a puzzle map but still, I would have atleast thought the first room were the guy talked(funny voice. ^.-) would have been all pretty. The whole map was filled with bland texturing.
Puzzles:
The first one was just dull, it wasn't that much of a puzzle was it? Ow look, a button. Presses. BOEM!. Room 1 done.
The second was very stupid aswell. You describe exactly what you have to do, just avoid the light and done room 2. Ooooow the challange!
Room 3 was somewhat interesting, the first part was kinda dull but I did like the letter puzzle, this was the only time I failed, because as the nub I am, I had no clue what the name of the mother of xen would be. Yet, for the people that did know, kinda simple eh'..
Room 4, meh. Easy and boring stuff.
Room 5, bigger meh. I just jumped to seventh and done was room 5! The rocks and then the blackness around it looked really strange btw.
In the end this was a alright map, but I didn't found it any challanging and it lacked prettyness. I had somewhat fun, but this isn't going to be replayer for me. 3 stars for you.

btw, I wasn't killed at the end, because when he appeared, he just stood in the corner. I could actually run up to him and jump around him, and he didn't do anything. You should maybe place some info points, and defianetely make that room brighter, because i could hardly see him anyway!

Yes! a crazy (in a good way) mod. Ties both wierdness and black mesa together at once. Great mod, though the end was a bit.....strange (could of ended nicer)

Official 5 Worse Ways To Die Walkthrough
Room 1:
There is no clue. The voice at the start warns you not to guess a door, because if you do - both doors will lead to death. Find the hidden button. It's on the far side of the support collumn.
Room 2:
The Indiana Jones Reference without the missing bit reads "In the words of Dr. Jones from Raiders of The Lost Ark 'Don't touch the light'" Avoid the light beams.
Room 3: Mother of Xen -
A male and a female toilet door. doesn't take a professor to work out that you choose the female one (mother of xen.) Then into the second part of room 3. Using the same clue - Mother of Xen. The answer, obvious to anyone who has completed HL is Gonarch. Step on the tiles in order to get to the other side.
Room 4 - Without them you wouldn't be in this mess.
The answer is of course 'Valve' the creators of Half-Life. Turn the valve to reveal the second clue. "Seek your reflection." Look in the puddle. Something isn't right. One of the reflections doesn't match. Get a mirror to read the sign. It says "Decypher this! The door that you must travel through is not on the left" therefor you choose the right door.
Room 5 - A Leap of Faith. Only those who truly believe in Seventh Monkey will cross alive. Simple - leap into Seventh's avatar and he will secure your safety.
End - I don't lose! >_<
Activate sv_cheats 1 and god mode then type impulse 101 a few times if you want to survive

I've never heard of a map with replay possibility...:( Good map, I managed to get through it eventually and all...HEY I leaped to Seventh and died...I don't trust him anymore!
Some clever ideas and architecture...Didn't know about the Raiders of the lost Ark but managed to figure it out eventually.
The amount of heart attacks you gave me with those explosions...Sheesh.
The ending was a bit fast like WOAH!
Overall superb as a puzzle map...Inspires me actually.

[slight spoilers]
well, it definately was an improvement on the previoius versions, although I did find it a little dark throughout, but that could just be me! Well mapped though, nice architeture, and I liked the broken effects. I also enjoyed the 'word on the floor' challenge, and reflection. Overall, short but fun - however, obviously not much replay possiblity.

Wow, that was pretty good Textures were well done for the most part. Puzzles were interesting, though one was just luck I thought Fairly good architecture, and it was fun which is the main thing.
I got the word in the room quite easily, I knew you'd choose something like that ;D

I have the same problem on my PC with all movable objects (including in-game) in HL2, they look bright then look normal when they are moving or you hit them, floating objects flash bright and then dark as they bob up and down in the water. I thought it was just my PC as it has a crappy graphics card (only 64 megs) and the game lags really bad. I would advise you to update your hardware/drivers unless someone with a fast PC has the same problem...
I don't think your map - crappy or not - is the problem.

Having seen every single damn version of this map that you compiled, I guess I have to say something about it.
I loved the outdoor areas in this map. They were very nicely detailed with a good combination of props and brushwork. My main gripe (as you are aware) are the hallways which essentially don't make any sense whatsoever. Having said that though, there's something rather fun about the layout - it's a quick and dirty map designed for some hectic rounds of CS:S.
If you were to extend the map further, I'd probably add some ambient sound and a 3D skybox. 4 1/2 from me, which gets elevated to 5.

The map had some very good brushwork. I liked the custom materials, and custom props. Although the custom props collision models must of been done by studiomdl because some parts could be walked through. The arch in the CT spawn had a NODRAW on the back of it. One can jump and see over the skybox in the CT spawn also.
Some halls were too plain, but how interesting can halls get? I liked the doors in some of the halls that were "nooked" away. Very unique. The courtyard had some very nice brushwork too.
Some stair rails looked bad though. Rails dont slope on the same incline as the stairs. They are vertical and follow with the stairs.
Even though it has its problems, I can still see the work that went into it. The problems it has are so small they were barely worth mentioning.
Its nice to see custom content and props in a map. (BTW I believe those were custom props right? (CHairs) or am I crazy?)

architecture = very neat
+More fun than challenging (good thing)
