I like the Matrix theme. The proportions are a little off but it creates a nice surrealistic experience. The furniture is a nice touch as well. Very well done for you second map.

I FOUND A PROBLEM BUT FIXED IT! There was a problem with the map that some users found at svencoop.com. This problem consisted of the map not ending. The monster_osprey didn't have a triggertarget or triggercondition thus altering the map ending. I have fixed this problem I ask that IF YOU ORIGINALLY DOWNLOADED THE MAP BEFORE AUGUST 27, 2005 that you download the map again! Sorry for the confusion that some of you may have had.
i swear this my first map attempt. not release. besides that when i reformatted my computer, i lost the files. so im starting on a new one soon as soon as i get some inspiration

Its a nice map, but i have seen much better. When i entered the train i got the feeling i was playing a singleplayer map, its a bad idea to put AI in multiplayer, it will strain older computers, thus eliminating a group of players.
The lightning wasnt that good, mostly the same lightning overall and pretty boring, couldnt find any dark spots but that is probably deu to my screens gamma.
The layout was fine, though it would be nice to add a extra path for the players on foot, to catch up with the train or to set up a trap.
The texturing needs some work, overall you used the same theme, but some textures dont fit together. Also it looks like you tryed to put in much work on textures in some spaces, but others look really bad.
Also check the traintrack, some textures arent aligned right.
Overall it needs a lot of work to great a good gameplay, though i didnt have the ability to test it out yet.
At one point i was impressed with your brushwork, and at the other point i was disappointed, when i came outside in the canyon i was very disappointed, the rocks could use more work instead of vertical pillars.

Certainly a v interesting idea, and looks good from the screenshot. Haven't downloaded so won't rate. Might not go down well with people who had friends or relatives killed in the attack though.

Mmm. Touchy subject to map. Dont you think some potential terrorist might get ideas? In a book by Tom Clancy, terrorists crashed a plane against the Capitol Building...
To get the console: in the shortcut type -console in the properties for it. It should look something like this: C:\Program\Valve\Steam\steam.exe -applaunch 220 -game "c:\program\valve\steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\gmod" -console

my biggestest and bestestest cs map (de_splinter_clan) took me 2 weeks to make... thats not inlcuding the time it took me to fix a big goddamned leak in it.
Take your time. Have fun mapping. Think about what the common CS player wants. Gameplay is a huge factor but the gameplay gets ruined when theres nasty lighting or arcitecture that makes the game feel silly.
I suggest you do a total remix of this map with better lighting mainly and perhaps a few more walls that are not shoot-throughable.
This is a beautiful map, very VERY accurate to the real thing. Good texturing helps the map, and I really think those car models are damn cool. With its nice entity work and absolutely awesome architectural detail, it was a very worthy winner.

Yeah...my first map is not very good, but decent for a first attempt, in my opinion. I definately agree that it's a big map, but it definately plays better with a big group. I mostly used existing textures from half-life so you aren't going to see anything exciting.

Thanks for the feedback. I was hoping to make my own textures...but then I got lazy...heh...when you don't have much free time using prefabs and other textures sure helps...even thought the results may not be what you expect. I tried to fit them as best possible.
