I dont think so :). It is easy to find... In most cases, you`ll find it in firefight ... BTW: be prepared for INTAKE, release in one week !

My friend gets this problem when he tries to run the map on a dedicated server, but when he tries to play it on my server its just fine. I have no idea what this error means. I have searched for it but found nothing. anybody know whats going on?

No, the freezer room was fine. And boring. Where's the secret bit anyway? And you just need env_sprite, not env_warpball, although the latter adds a nice effect.

If u load it from single player (map dm_2fort_vox" or whatever, then there are monsters. If u start a mp game, there are none.

I am going to stop making any more HL maps due to lack of interest. Starting to CS map. Wish me luck! :)

sprites on the teleport...hmm... i tried the env_warpball with spirit but there was notihn there. theres gonna hopefully b puzzles in the next bit an a lot longer 2. and whats up with the brushwork? tell me and ill get it fixed up. it was the freezer room wasnt it?

Not bad, but the brushwork kinda sucks.
Love the lighting, though. Maybe some sprites on the teleporters? A bit short and easy as well. Still, not bad. Maybe a bit more depth for your sequel?

umm...download spirit, then check the tut on running bsps... or if u must know start hl go 2 spirit and in the console type "map tw1" no quotes. or use the run directory but mine dont work thanks 2 sum1 on this site coughcoughKOLcough

I have only run around this for about 5 minutes, but it is really impressive. Huge amounts of detail. Cant wait to have a good look..

No it doesn't. Lighting appears to be non-existant, and the level appears to be poorly constructed. A lot of detail does not make a map good, you will need to learn more about when and where to put large amounts of detail such as this.

There is far less detail but through use of the detail and blending using lighting and ambience, the author has made the map look and feel a lot better.

Again, a lot less deail is used but the detail which is used is blended and enhanced using lighting and fine texturing. R-speeds in this area are about 400, making an educated guess, I'd say that your screenshot will have in excess of 5000. Software users will start dropping polygons at 800 and most people will start to experience frame rate dropping at 1000.

You need to learn how to use lighting to create ambience and you need to badly read up on r-speeds. You have too much detail in one area, which is why you have low fps.

Interesting, but for a first map it is pretty good.
MP maps don't normally have monsters.... but apart from that, it could actually play well.
High r_speeds, but not bad for a first go.
